I didn't catch the shot at NBC the first time I watched the episode.

Kristen Kreuk and Tom Cavanaugh actually voice their characters in that skit.

Oliver and the show need to take the campaign manager's advice and distance themselves from Laurel. Forever.
I just stared Arrow about 2 months ago on Netflix, and I just caught up with the last episode this morning. I've avoided forums and articles b/c of spoilers... but the entire series I kept wondering what the frick is wrong with Laurel Lance. She is possibly the dumbest character I've ever seen on a TV show.

sorry but this season has been absolutely atrocious. the main story is going absolutely nowhere. damian sends lance on an errand, check, errand done, check. cool. end.
its been way more of a vehicle to get other characters back so they can ship them off. the flashbacks are beyond dumb. there is just no drive at all to this show anymore. its so bland and boring. uuuuugggghhhh. season 2 i crowned it as one of the best shows on television. you win again, cw. its pretty much drivel at this point.

This my only real problem with the season so far, the fact that we know Sara and Ray are gonna be on Legends kinda takes all the tension and intrigue out of those story lines. Same thing went for the Firestorm storyline on Flash.
Disagree with you on just about every other point though, seasons been pretty great so far. Damien Darhk is setting up to be a fantastic villain.

yes watching him sit behind a desk every week and make smug comments has been riveting.

Don't watch. Life's too short.

Agree about all the time being wasted setting up these other characters for Legends. I'm still not sure where this seasons flashbacks are going but I'm assuming something mystical related to Darkh.
I thought they were starting to really break up Ollicity tonight but not yet. I still think it's coming one way or another. I like felicity much more than Laurel though.

So jealous of Felicity, she just attacked Oliver there at the end. Lucky Girl.

Any ideas what that was Darhk opened up at the end?
The way Sarah was written off of Arrow was ridiculous. She can't stop killing people, so she is just going to walk out of town and away from everyone who can stop/help her. Freaking stupid.
Also, why did Lance not simply tell Oliver where Darhk's base was? He wouldn't have kept Ray at a second location, and Lance has been in his base of operations multiple times.
The writing on this show has gotten terrible. These guys are stretching themselves too thin, and Arrow is getting the short end of the stick.
Lastly, I thought we were promised no more crying Felicity...

As long as it's not an every episode deal (like last season) showing some emotion isn't bad. But yea let's not do it every episode.
Also I guess Diggs brother is alive based on the preview, looking forward to that awkward chat about Dig banging his wife

You may work for Damien Darhk, but the things I did to your wife were straight evil bro.

I liked the part where Sarah had to tell us how Thea has managed her murder rages. When did this happen? Last we saw Malcolm let her kill a couple LOA ninja's and told her she'd need to do it ever few weeks or something.

Dude, these writers dangled the perfect out for that shitshow of a relationship in our face last night and then snatched it away.
And now the flashbacks, which have gotten mildly interesting again, are not getting enough attention and when they do show clips it feels disjointed. We don't get an entire flashback story in an episode anymore.

Ive fallen asleep mid episode 3 weeks in a row. This show is losing me bad. The whole season everything seems so rushed.
Oliver coming back. Rushed.
Sara coming back. Rushed.
Constantine. Rushed.
Ray coming back. Rushed.
Now we have a whole episode before starting a cross over that is going to introduce us to a new villain for an entirely different show. They might as well have just made a full episode order for LOT.

This didnt need to be a prolonged thing, get him in the suit and get him back to putting arrows in things. Any longer and the show risks falling back into the sluggish pace of season 3.

Nature of the beast, had to get them revived by mid season for Legends, I put less of the blame on the Arrow team and more on the network. A lot of the meat of the story has to be saved for Legends.

Constantine. Rushed.
I agree that we need more Constantine, but I really dont think we've seen the last of him, he was a big hit and has a built in viewership. If they stick with the mysticism stuff I imagine he'll show up again sometime around seasons end.

Agree completely, too much of both Arrow and Flash have been used to set up Legends and it's hurt both shows. I think both have done reasonably well in handling their respective build ups but there's only so much you can do.
