Gotta be Speedy's grave. Sara comes back and has the urge to kill Speedy. Speedy can't take the urge anymore and lets her do it. Sara leaves town.

That doesn't really jive with the scene at the grave though. Oliver's focus is on killing "him" to stop the darkness. Maybe if Damien had goaded Sarah into killing her.

They brought Sara back so that they could ship her off to Legends of Tomorrow.
That storyline will be over by mid-season.

I'm fine with them bringing Sara back as long as she goes to Legends of Tomorrow and stays there. I like Sara as a character but whenever the Lance family gets together its just so melodramatic and really brings about some stupid moments. Let her go off on a different show away from Laurel and her Dad and it'll be fine. Also Sara is hot.

They could have done all of that without bringing her back.

They also could have realized Sara was infinitely the better character and made her black canary for good and kill off laurel

Unfortunately she will be White Canary, not Black Canary.
They aren't killing off Laurel anytime soon. She is destined to take Felicity's place as Oliver's love interest after they kill Felicity off this season.

But really the pregnancy was probably there to flesh out Moira's death episode more than anything. I doubt they had any concrete plans when they conceived the idea. I'm assuming that particular storyline will rear its ugly head at some point.

IMO the person who's going to die will most likely be either Theia or Digg. Theia is falling apart, and Digg and Oliver's relationship is just now getting better. And Digg is Oliver's mentor and him dying would make sense. The whole Sara resurrection thing was weird but since she's to be going away soon it's a little better. Also wonder if they're going to bring Ray Palmer back for 1 episode to show he's alive.

Why has Starling City turned into Star City?

In the comics it's Star City. In the show Ray Palmer wanted to rebrand the city as "Star City" after all that the city had gone through. The city was renamed in his honor.
