For Love of the Game should be added. Yeah it's a love story, but the deep story of the career ending is great.

I love this movie.

My top 10 in no order:

Major League
For the Love of the Game
Sandlot
A League of their Own
The Natural
Field of Dreams
The Rookie
Pride of the Yankees
Eight Men Out

I know it wasn't on that list but 61* has always been a favorite. Eight Men Out is the only one on that list that I have enjoyed.

I love The Natural, it's one of my top two or three baseball movies of all time. But the OP gave a random list and was wanting info on those so I just didn't talk about other movies he should see. I figured he didn't list the common ones everybody knows for a reason.

This is what I'm thinking. He asked which movies among a list of not really as well known movies he should see, and he's getting a bunch of responses like, "Dude, you should totally check out Bull Durham; it's way awesome!"

I think that is the list of baseball movies on Netflix Instant. I pass through a lot of those when I am looking for a good sports movie to watch. Stealing Home is always one that is in my suggestions of movies I might like.

Eight Men Out

Stealing Home & Mr. Destiny are somewhat formulaic and sappy, but your SO will watch them with you (and SH might get you some action). Baseball is not all that significant in Mr. Destiny (but Renee Russo looks bangin' in that movie).

61*
The Natural
Bull Durham are my favorites.
Eta.....not sure how I forgot The Sandlot

Mr. Baseball is pretty good.
Mr. Destiny isn't really a baseball movie but is pretty good.

If you can't tell, most people liked Eight Men Out. I loved that movie and it's very rewatchable. Gave some great incite to the Black Sox Scandal.
