New show on Apple+ with Jason Segel and Harrison Ford. It’s only two episodes in, but it’s pretty damn good so far, about a therapist who’s going through some really tough stuff. It’s both funny and pretty sentimental in parts. Really like it so far!

I'm enjoying as well. It's from the creator of Ted Lasso and has a very similar vibe. I especially like seeing a different version of Harrison Ford than we're used to.

I'm curious but Segel's sad sack schtick is so annoying...

I never noticed his tendency to play sad characters. So true. The version he did in Forgetting Sarah Marshall was pretty funny, though.

Yeah, main thing that bothered me after watching the first episode. Liked Ford’s character though, so will reserve judgement until after further episodes.

I guess I hadn’t thought of how often Segel does the sad thing. Definitely could seem a bit repetitive, but I think he’s doing this one well, bringing something different and more sincere to it than “o I got dumped by my actress gf”

And agree on Harrison Ford, really cool character for him so far!

The neighbor husband is hysterical, best supporting character in a while. The way he acted when the son came home from college and then it was revealed what happened, lolol such a dad reaction.

Ted McGinley from Happy Days and Revenge of the Nerds. I’ve always wondered where he went.

I really don’t wanna overhype this show, but it is so fvcking good. I think it’s gonna get a slow burn rise to really strong popularity as folks find it. It’s got the similar warm feels that a Ted Lasso has but isn’t as cheesy

All of the characters are really filling out into their roles. Harrison Ford is great. The daughter is awesome, her banter with Ford is hysterical. The neighbor and the black therapist’s newfound friendship is great. Even the gay guy is pretty funny and they almost steer into the hilarity of gay stereotypes

Killing it so far

Wife and I have really been enjoying this show. Makes sense given the creators of Ted Lasso and Scrubs are involved in this, which are two of my favorite drama genre shows. Really surprised it’s not getting more hype right now.

His wife just died, how’s he supposed to act? This show is fantastic, and very well cast. I look forward to New episodes

Yup, deserves a weekly bump. Was traveling this week and only got around to watching this week’s episode today. The show is still hitting on all levels.

Harrison Ford is also hysterical in this role. Don’t rawdawg me again lol.

frick that douchy Segel. He ruined The Muppets and exploited them to make some shite movies. Him and that director. I refuse to watch him. Harrison Ford would have to be doing some incredible acting and have some truly great lines for me to watch this. He's alright in 1923 but any good character actor could have performed in that role.
