Real good. The Liam one was not good though in my opinion which sucks because I was looking forward to his part.

If was incredible. I didn't know what to expect but I love the Cohen Brothers. They never disappoint.

I hope Liam Neisen taught that chicken a parlor trick fast.

Well... Yeah. A guy slowly hacking limbs off of his son over time and eating them while keeping him alive as a parlor trick isn't exactly supposed to make you feel warm and fuzzy.

I grew up watching westerns with my dad and granddad. They hit the nail square on the head with satire, tribute, homage, and fictional history.

Yeah that's what I assumed. Every winter if they didn't get enough money from his performances to get beans by the campfire Liam would hack a limb off and they would both eat it.

Eventually he was out of limbs. So Liam ate him. And taught the chicken a parlor trick. After all, chickens are cheaper to feed and replace.

The name of the entire segment was "a convenient meal."

You think he just decided to eat a torso one day? No shot. Why do you think they kept making it a point to show him counting the money and looking somberly and ominously at the kid by the fire. I bet he started small with fingers or toes and it got worse from there.

He slowly hacked that kid up over atleast one winter but probably years.

I've watched it 4 or 5 times now and can't think of a 2018 movie that I like better.

So what do you think happened at the end? It was a play on the famous Donner Party.

I'm not kidding..did you actually watch it? Because it is one million percent clear what happens with zero other interpretation, and it sure isn't what you're saying

He threw him in the river

That’s why he threw the rock first to test the distance down.

From wiki

quote:

He walks to the center of the bridge and drops a large stone to gauge the water's depth before returning to the wagon wearing a faint smile. In the final scene, the impresario has resumed driving the wagon, with the caged chicken as his only passenger.
