Sure. Lots of people do that. Skipping rocks was a fun way to pass the time when I was a kid.

I'm glad you finally figured out how wrong you were. Good lord that has to be pretty embarrassing.

Eventually he was out of limbs. So Liam ate him. And taught the chicken a parlor trick. After all, chickens are cheaper to feed and replace.

Not even remotely close. Go watch it again.

I haven’t seen this movie and probably won’t, but I like the “he ate him” version better.

Whew. I’m glad I’m not the only one that had no idea what that dude was talking about

I read that and thought I must be retarded because I didn’t get any of the stuff he was talking about.

I'm dying laughing at this. This thread is killing me.

Actually, it's an interesting theory. The whole scene is a metaphor for how Hollywood has thrown away intelligent entertainment for cheaper and dumber. More or less a Coen inside joke. And the cannibalism thing has a point. I don't think it's as terrible an idea as this thread does.

Great movie, in any case, though.

It's a fine idea, it's just not supported in any way by what the Coen Brothers put on film. It would work very well on it's own, it just didn't happen in this film.

I want to agree with "it just didn't happen in this film".

But then why does he have no arms or legs? Coincidence? The Coens are not going to put it in for no reason. I'm open to a better theory.
