Has anyone given this podcast a listen? So far they've done close to 30 of these, and they're done by Bill Simmons and some of his Ringer employees. So far they've done:
Any Given Sunday
Blue Chips
White Men Can't Jump
Moneyball
Jerry Maguire
Heat
A Few Good Men
The Departed
Point Break
You've got Mail
Silence of the Lambs
Speed
Titanic
Clueless
Scream
Face/Off
The Fugitive
The Dark Knight
Friday
48 Hrs
Zodiac
10 Things I Hate About You
Good Will Hunting
Varsity Blues
Miami Vice
Get Out
The Big Lebowski
Creed
I've listened to a few of them, and did Good Will Hunting last weekend. These really make you want to go back and watch these movies again.
Was just curious of others opinions on the podcast.

I do. Listen to several podcasts on the ringer.

I unsubscribed from all The Ringer Pods about 6 months ago. His whiny political shtick was too much for me.

This is the only Ringer podcast that I have kept on my list. I really enjoy their discussions about these movies that I've seen so many times. They tend to stick with the movie material and don't venture out into the political realm often. The episodes without Simmons are better than those with him included.

I just discovered this podcast after listening to his long interview with Matt Damon (which was really good too). So far I've listened to Face/Off, The Departed, The Fugitive, Blue Chips, and the Dark Knight. They've all been really really good and entertaining.

They need to scratch the "what didn't age the best" part of the podcast. It's the same answer for every movie.
Besides that part, I enjoy the channel.

I've probably listened to 90% of these. When Simmons isn't on them, they're almost unlistenable.
The latest episode Dazed and Confused, really showed the weakness and strengths of the three hosts though.
They were trying to conflate their teenage years (all raised in urban NE areas) to what happens in the film... And they kind of missed all the little southern things the film got so accurate...especially when it came to the music, especially the Tuesdays Gone scene and the football culture.
I just wish they weren't so blatantly douchey in many of their takes.

Agree, it's more snobby if it's Fennessey and Ryan if no Bill. Any of the pods with Bill and Shea are the best.
