Haven't seen too much about it on this board, but seems pretty interesting. Never read the comics but I know they were well received

I plan on giving it a shot this weekend. Trailer looks ok.

I was so-so on the comic when I read it, but I thought the Kick-arse comic stunk on ice and loved the movie adaption. I'm planning on giving it a shot, it could be another sneaky good Netflix production.

The first episode is a bit... meh. It didn't really seem to click for me.
To me it just had the "watch us, we're being weird, watch how weird we are" sort of vibe going I thought. Whereas The Doom Patrol or Legion are just weird comic book shows.
It might suffer from the dreaded first episode exposition monster where they spend too much time setting the tone and getting things started. I'll watch a few more episodes to see if it gets rolling.
Ellen Page plays Ellen Page, very depressed, vaguely funny. Its an Ellen Page role. The other actors do an OK job with their parts,
It might be a great series, others may love it, but the first episode didn't hook me in.

I got to almost the end of episode 2 and the show is really slow so far. I don’t find any of the characters interesting and I might watch another episode or 2 before I quit watching it.

I just finished episode 4. It really picked up in episode 3 and 4.
Finished the series. Very good for sure. I loved how everything was analog. No cell phones, electronics etc.
I cannot wait until season two.

Yeah, that is sort of where I am at with the series as well.

This. The first two episodes were all over the place, but I'm on episode 6 and I'm enjoying it overall.
Cool story. Biggest knock is the casting.
Luther and Allison are played by bad actors.
Diego is like some kind of knockoff Dean from Supernatural.
Mary J Blige and her partner are unconvincing as assassins.
Ellen Page is meh. Basically the same character she's been playing since Juno, but with what seems like a fairly predictable story arch.
The kid that plays Number Five is awesome though, they did well with him. Klaus is well cast too IMO, and the guy that plays Leonard is a convincing creep.
Overall its still definitely worth watching IMO. Not perfect by any means and probably not for everybody, but it's up my alley and I like it.

Watched the first 4 episodes and really like it
Diego makes the show. By far the most interesting character
On the flip side, obviously they are building to something with 7s character but holy frick every scene so far is mind numbingly boring. I started just skipping scenes with her In it.
Shout out to Hazel, who plays Ed kemper on Mind Hunter. He’s so damn scary on mindhunter but in this he has like an old school John Goodmen quality to him.

Just finished the series, very well done and a very good show.
I wish there had been a Ben show in the series.

Yea, I would have liked more background on him. I don't remember them even saying how he died?
I finished too. I really enjoyed it.
Allison's character and actress grew on me a lot over the last 3 or 4 episodes. I still think Ellen Page was insufferable and the guy playing Luther was a bad actor, but those are really my only complaints. I haven't read the comics so I have no frame of reference there.
I would definitely recommend this. It's not perfect by any means, but it's a cool story and good enough to binge watch.

After this was announced for Netflix last year I decided to read the Umbrella series comics and I enjoyed them. In fact as good as this was the "Dallas" storyline is even better.
I cannot wait until season two.

I’m about 8 episodes in so far
I like it
It’s like a knock off X-Men meets League of Extrodinary gentlemen type feel
Finished:
Ellen Pages Character is pretty annoying but the others are interesting.

Watching it now and I like it. The cinematography alone is enjoyable, although a bit overdone at times. The music is great also.
But I wholeheartedly agree with this:
I can't stand her.

I finished the series and it did pick up quite a bit but its the dreaded Ellen Page plays the Ellen Page character. She might be a wonderful person in real life but she roles she picks seem to have an amazing ability to suck the joy and life from a movie.

I bet Kristen Stewart thinks Ellen Page needs more range!!!
