Crazy how he refused to leave Columbia. If I had his money my arse would be in some private compound in Africa, paying off the government of a corrupt country to do as I wish.

Watched it in 2 days. Very cool series, can't wait for season 2.

So much reading. I need to catch up on my Duolingo lessons before next season.

Really like the show, except for Murphy's wife. She is not a good actress at all.

My only complaint is not one reference to George Jung. He was a pretty important part of the cartel. Would have been incredible to have Depp in a cameo.

Pablo could probably still be running a cartel today had he decided to a) not run a political campaign and assassinate presidents and b)not kidnap important people.

Umm that's basically what he was doing anyway?
And no way he'd still be running the Cartel today.
Everybody gets got. It's all in the game.

Pablo was clearly unstable and power hungry. For he went back and stopped himself from doing the stupid things he did, he would just find something dumber to do that would've gotten him killed by the government or more likely by his own cartel

Just finished. Very good.
Just wondering if only two seasons will be made. At the point the season ends there isn't much time left for Escobar.

He went into hiding for quite a while

I had to look up what happened with him. He lives another year and a half after leaving the prison. Not much time.

Finished watching 2 weeks ago. Pablo was a bad mofo. Loved the show

Just enough for one more season. Like an extended miniseries.

Hmm, you act like guys who are in cartels are peaceful human beings. What world do you live in?
They brought attention to themselves by murdering massive amounts of people in the US, namely Miami.
