Rob Reiner said that at the time, Andre could barely lift a jug of milk because of his back. They thought the physical stuff would be easy for him, but they ended up using more wires for him than Cary Elwes.

Certainly seems to have been a part of it.

On one 6-hour flight, the Giant drank 1 short (119) of 5 cases of beer. Think about that - 1 beer every 3 minutes for 6 hours.

but why? It’s strange because my wife is one of those people that doesnt watch movies, almost impossible to get her to watch one with me, but she loves and can quote The Princess Bride.

I have watched this movie with many women. I truly believe men and women see the movie very differently. Men view it as a comedy while women view it as a love story. The women I have watched it with really did not get some of the humor and we would laugh at very different times. If a woman doesn't get the humor, the love story may not be enough for them to love it.

My wife loves every aspect of the story (the comedy, the adventure, the love story).

Yes, I'm bragging.
