Lol @ 12%.

The 'Andor stops being boring" headline was after season 2 was released. That is calling the whole first season boring.

Again you’re ignorant, Gary and CD watched all of it at once. They didn’t watch S1 when it released, they watched it leading into S2. You continue to show your hypocrisy, by your own logic your arguments are disqualified.

The headline andor stops being boring was May 9th. Episodes 7, 8, 9 were released May 6th.

If they watched season 1 in the leadup to season 2 that means they had finished season 1 weeks before they posted that it stopped being boring.

They did a 180 on the show after they realized continuing to doubt it would just make them look even stupider.

At least they did it early enough to avoid completely destroying their reputation unlike StarWarsTheory

Again you don’t know what was said in the videos and are just making shite up. You’re doing exactly what what you accuse SEK of all the time only at least SEK touches on things he knows where as you just make stuff up.

Yea that’s another lie. An inverse example would be daredevil where Gary argued and defended it midway through then agreed it went to shite by the end. So in conclusion he doesn’t like daredevil but in your perverse mindset he actually loves it. It’s this groundbreaking thing called commenting and critiquing something in real time instead of having a pre programmed opinion and sticking with that no matter what the way you do which is shill behavior.

What am i making up? The evidence is literally right here. The date is in the photo. The headline is right above it. Do you think i hacked their website and wrote it for them? Its their words, not mine.

You might want to look up the term evidence instead of working so hard to push lies,

You don’t know the format, the length or how many shows this entails. You don’t know shite basically but are trying to use a selected statement, which isn’t even proving your point, to cover hours of discussions. All you’ve proven is that you’re ignorant, dishonest and hypocritical. Good job.

You are the one that claimed they were promoting the show.

If their idea of promotion is to post a negative headline that you have to watch an entire 3 hour video to find where they spin it positive they aren't promoting the show, they are promoting themselves.

They realize the negative headlines are what draw in their subscribers though.

Again with the lies, I said members of the FNT crew have and they have. Mauler’s done probably 20 hours praising the show and drinker did at least 5 videos and multiple streams dedicated to praising it as well. Stop lying and stop talking out of your arse.

No. You said they ALL have. Not members.

That was said before you changed the definition of promotion to push your lies.

First, I'm ignoring the last 2 pages of this thread and the Star Wars nerd battle.

After finishing Andor we rewatched Rogue One. I agree with others here, its a classic and the best Star Wars movie start to finish.

Also starting a re-watch of Season 1, finished episode 3, so far even better than first time through.

Also a huge what if...(spolier if someone hasn't seen Season1)...in episode 3 what if Casian or Luthen is able to grab the starpath unit before leaving Ferrix? If so, Dedra and the ISB don't dig in on Ferrix looking for Axis, and maybe she never finds Luthen. At the same time maybe Ferrix and Ghorman never happen and the rebellion doesn't have a spark plug moment.

I have so much second hand embarrassment.

I've been guilty of it too.

I've not seen Rogue One in years, definitely not since watching Andor.

Honest question: how well does that hold up to this series?

I don't think I'd argue with anyone saying it's the best Star Wars movie, period.

I definitely put it above the prequels. And definitely the last two sequels.

They just quit the concept after Solo came out...and that wasn't all that bad, either.

I hate Disney.

Just break free from the OT Trilogy cast of characters and all their predecessors and successors.

The Galaxy a long time ago is a very big place. It can accommodate new stories.

Solo was a decent movie. It straight-up got fricked by coming out immediately after E8.

And that's the crux of the case against Disney. 10k years of Old/High Republic, with an entire galaxy of stories to tell, and they persist in staying laser-focused on the political turmoil that surrounds a freed slave boy from an Outer Rim planet, whom everyone else in the galaxy has had some manner of run-in with.

Both seasons of Andor & Rogue One all sprung from 3 sentences in the ANH opening crawl:
quote:

It is a period of civil war.
Rebel spaceships, striking
from a hidden base, have won
their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.

During the battle, Rebel
spies managed to steal secret
plans to the Empire's
ultimate weapon, the DEATH
STAR, an armored space
station with enough power to
destroy an entire planet.

That's pretty amazing storytelling, to fill in the gaps left by that sweeping summary.

Meh... it was OK.

As a standalone, it's solid. My biggest complaint is how it shoehorns every known bit of "Han Solo" lore into what seems to be a short period of time. I think it would have benefitted greatly from the series format, and you could do a better job showing things happen over a longer period.

As for the sci fi train robbery, I think Firefly did it better.
