Just as good as season 1 imo. Binge watched it last night and love how they tell the story. I’d recommend it.

Season 1 had some amazing writing. I’m glad the second seems to hold up

Watched s2 ep1 a couple days ago. IT was ok but just ok, nothing spectacular. Won't likely watch anymore episodes right now. Wayyy too much otehr great stuff out there to view first IMO. But to each his own if you are in love with it.

I binged this last night and wow, it was amazing. On par with Season 1 and the story was told brilliantly again.

If mockumentaries are your thing, this series is a solid must watch.

Finished the last episode.

I can 100% honestly say that this is the best series on Netflix. Its lighthearted and somewhat dumb because of the subject matter, but deep down, this show deals with some serious issues. Its quite amazing how it does it.

The kid that played Demarcus was extraordinary. Easily the best part of this season.

Binged it over the last 2 days and it definitely lived up to the 1st season, which was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of silly humor with legit laugh out loud moments, but once again they actually created a compelling mystery and included some pretty well thought out social commentary.

I'm now really hoping for a 3rd season.

I just finished my binge. I thought it was really great. Not as funny to me as season 1, but still funny. The storytelling is top notch and what I think is so great is that they can take such a silly premise and turn it into something so captivating. Its a really well done show.

True.

I think they're poking fun at the likes of Dateline and 48 Hours and their overly theatric presentation of serious criminal acts.

It's one thing to present a criminal case and another to give it overly dramatic production value.

American Vandal is satire at its finest.

Glad to hear. I’m planning to start this after I catch up on Ozark and Barry.

It's not quite as good as Season 1, but it's still pretty great. What was great about S1 was the detail they would go into other high school drama like who made out with who at what party. Here, with the kids doing a doc at a different high school, there isn't quite the same stakes.

But that's a small complaint. It's still funny, and the subplot of the basketball team is amazing.

I thought it was superior to season 1.

Thought this season was great. The actors that played their characters absolutely perfect were Kevin and Demarcus. They had me rolling!

Question for those who have seen both seasons...which character was better?
