All of that did indeed happen and yet, other than the clown parts, it was very boring.
That is why I was so disappointed. Breesus is right though, its setting up a lot. While they didn't set up well, I'm gonna stick around. There is a lot potential here.

My friend lives in Waggaman and she said she saw the circus tents everyday over there when they were filming.
I'm intrigued and can't wait for future episodes!

agreed. yes, you named things that sound interesting and not boring. however, this isnt a book. the way they presented them was very slow and boring. I could list some cool things that happened in the Green Lantern movie to make it sound better than it was, but at the end of the day that movie is still awful.

I enjoyed the first episode, definitely didn't find it boring. The most disturbing part for me was the freak that just bit the head off of the live chicken...freaked me out more than the clown for some reason

They have to try and setup the characters so that takes time. This episode was kinda boring other than the freaking creepy clown and his half face half mask face. Most shows 1st episodes are kinda hard to watch and try to understand what all they are trying to setup for the season. I'm sure all of us will watch at least 3 to see if we continue. I'm in so far. I even watched it with all the lights off.

I could not watch it all last night to tried to finish this morning before work while my fam was in other rooms getting dressed. My son walked in right as the three boob lady came on. I freaked out!!!!

why is this an excuse? this is the shows 4th season, their 4th time restarting an idea and setting up story/characters. theyve done a better job in the past making the introductory episode interesting. both coven and asylum started better and showed where the story was going.
i have absolutely no idea what this show is besides random characters talking to each other and random murders.
eta: this is pretty much following the path of murphy's other show nip/tuck. first 2 seasons were great with small problems. then the latter seasons lost direction and the show really tanked
