Why only show a few competitors. 3rd episode and we've only seen half the cast.

Mike, Jose, and Nicole are doing the best. Randy is the wild card IMO.

I know it's early + 20/20 hindsight for new group, but these contestants seem a bit stronger and more knowledgeable than first season. Really enjoy this show.

I think a lot of it has to do with the success of Season 1 & the general unknown prior to it. I feel we will see more & more skilled competitors come out of the woodwork (literally) in the coming seasons...

Have they shown Mike, David, or Justin yet?

They were in episode 2. Larry's been shown the most. Hmmmm

I think they may get more survival experts, but not one would be more acclimated to living in this environment more than anyone else.
That being said, the contestants have confided to the camera that they used the previous season as a learning tool.
There's people on the Outdoor Board saying they'd do Alone easily.

Jose has all the expertise but they havent shown his food stocks yet. He also seems the type that can forage incredibly well. Hes got to be the front runner and I can see him building an impressive camp and From the basic view we've seen, it looks solid as a starting point.

Of course. Probably the same ones that say that they could do a better job than Les Miles on the Rant and claim to have a 10 inch penis on the OT.

I'm willing to bet that the hippie Oregon lady with multiple sclerosis is an anti-vaxxer.

He stands out from the crowd but he really loves his wife so I can see that wearing on him if he gets bored with woodworking.
Biggest surprise so far is the big girl. Shes doing pretty well and much better than expected imo.

And if anyone is curious about the mass shooting Tracy was talking about...
One crazy person is not your guilt. She seems to be the type of person that loves to play the victim. She had no control of that situation and she isn't to blame. People kill me trying to wear someone's crime like it was her own fault.

I can be comfortable in the woods for a long time. But only if they would drop food for me. Savaging for roots and catching a few fish to survive ain't my thing.
I'd check out after a few days and go get a burger.

I'm looking forward to learning more from Jose.

That's weird that I don't remember that. I lived in Aiken County. I was in school at USC when it happened, so maybe that's why I don't remember it.

Man that one guy who makes his own wood tools is going to be hard to beat. He looks like he is just fine out there.
I think the large woman will do well also. I am starting to really like this show.

I don't think she was playing the victim, she was doing a confessional. I think there is nothing wrong with empathy. She just said had she not hesitated she felt like she could have saved that one life. She carries that with her.
