I hope there is no reset. I like the idea that that everything do to avoid trouble is really what creates the event in the first place.. i.e. the bomb is the event, jack not treating ben means he has to go to the others, etc.

If they do the reset, Frank is likely to directly be involved in 815 this time, since he was originally supposed to fly 815. How Miles, Desmond, Faraday, and Juliet work their way back into this I have no idea
Well they would come to the island no matter what... Everything would just start over. The writers could easily leave the other half of the survivors off (Echo + Ana Lucia) by not taking it in the exact same way. Like I said, groundhog dayish. They will have more control over whats going on
The producers said that a lot of the characters who have gone on (Charlie, Faraday, Shannon) will be returning in this season. Only way it can really fit.

I remember in Season 3, I was on all the Lost boards reading theories and really trying to figure out what was going on in the show.
Then, after season 3, I just gave it up. It's too much for me...I've gone the "enjoy the ride" route

Yeah... two reasons this makes sense
1) When they are in the hatch all of the cement and objects in the walls would have been the remenents of "the incident"
2) In some of the Dharma videos, Marvin Candles is missing one of his arms. Its obviously a prosthetic. In the last episode, the director heavily focuses on his arm getting smashed. I dont know why they would show that unless its just to frick with us... Which is common.

I started rewatching the entire series in early July and just got to season five about two days ago.
I started rewatching about two months ago and am halfway through season three right now. Good stuff

I have already re-watched all 5 seasons

I made it through all of season two and half of season three in about two weeks. We got hooked once we made it past season one. I never saw seasons two or three when they aired. Damn shame they killed off Mr Eko

I'm just going to enjoy the ride also. I do hope in the end that the final episode heavily focuses on Shepherd and Locke.

The writers said that resolving the Locke/Jack rivalry will be the central issue.

That's good to hear.

Isn't this rivalry pretty much "Dead"?
Will there be a Locke or just an Esau?
Jack was pretty much a complete believer in Locke by the end of Season 5, it seemed.

Title of Episode 11 revealed, although I don't have the one for Episode 10.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Jack has been completely brainwashed at this point. I am really less of a fan of Jack now just like I was never much of a fan of Lock.

To be honest, I probably personally won't accept anything after the show ends to be canon, since I highly doubt Darlton will exactly answer what the Island is, while if they make something like a "Star Trek: The Next Generation" with this, they will probably try to explain it in some extremely stupid way. Anything that those 2 aren't behind, I won't be either.

Hmmmm.... I was thinking about that the other day. How could they spin it off without screwing with the shows integrity

For the final season, ABC has kept its marketing campaign close to the vest. Promos and clips have utilized footage from past seasons only -- but that will change a week before "Lost's" Feb. 2 season premiere, as 815 fans give the correct answer to "Lost" trivia online and receive a message in a bottle. That bottle will include a USB drive that features a clip from the season's first episode. The network is fully expecting that clip to then quickly go viral online.
Gonna be hard to not watch that clip, and I'm trying to avoid anything for this season

Hurley and Sawyer move in together and a wacky sitcom that will be the hit of 2011.
