Because you consume product then get excited about new product. You don’t give a damn about the canon busting or complete holes in continuity. You just like to see sparkly jingly space things, and pew pew lasers on screen.

I don’t need to watch it to know that it’s crap.
Because objectively, it is crap whether I see it or not. This isn’t like Schrodinger‘s cat. Garbage shows are not both awesome and terrible at the same time.
I guess I’ll have to say this 10 million more times before it sinks in.

Because I have no desire to watch 40 minutes of some guys raging over the world not patting them on the back for existing. Again, you don’t have an actual opinion that is your own.
You’re not a serious person worth debating. You’ve not even watched the show to form your own opinion. I’m not “debating” someone who has never even watched the show and is going on the opinion of others.

That’s just like your opinion man. Seriously, this is gone into the gutter of “ is too/ is not“ discussions.
Hell, I knew rings of power would be garbage before it dropped. Canceled my Prime subscription and guess what? I was 100% vindicated. Why ? Because I knew the source material just as I know what Star Wars has been - long before Disney bought & ruined the IP.
Maybe even worse is that I like many of the actors in the show. They are just given bad parts and bad writing. Even decent actors can’t save this mess.

Star Wars was a fun trilogy with a few plot holes and inconsistencies that we ignore because we used to know how to enjoy things.

You can pick apart the original trilogy, like Luke’s proton torpedos making 90 degree turns into the death star. or the fact that they decided to hide Like from Vader with Vader’s family and giving him Vader’s last name. they didn’t even keep that a secret. Like kisses his sister at some point.
but they’re fun and we enjoyed them because those aren’t the most important parts.
