Now THATS the Star Wars I want to see. Hopefully Disney can get back to making movies like this instead of TLJ.

Haven’t seen Solo yet but Rouge One is aging very well relative to the other SW movies.

Well when you compare it to what has come out as far as Star Wars movies in the last 20 years you could be right

That scene was so badass because it was a healthy mix of nostalgia, asskicking, and a precursor to what we knew was next.

It’s ok, but definitely better than the other new SW releases. TFA wasn’t bad, but TLJ ruined it. Vader in Rouge One makes the movie for me. If they made a two hour movie of Vader kicking arse like in RO, I’d see it a dozen times.

Disney, get a new SW crew and make Shadows of the Empire!

meh

Vader was way too fast in his actions in that scene. it wasn't traditional Vader

also cinematically, it would have been better for a slower Vader to dismantle them. it's a lot more terrorizing/scary

I remember seeing this for the first time in the theater. I got kinda numb with joy. I've waited my whole life to see this Vader and couldn't believe they were actually showing it on screen. I still can watch it over and over.

Can't be a masterpiece if the story and the characters both suck

Is it an inside joke that people in this thread are typing Rouge instead of Rogue?

Eh, it's a solid 4 star. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece.

Rogue One is the only recent one of the series that can easily stand alongside the OT. That final scene is arguably one of my favorites.

True.

Doesn't make it a jaw dropping movie. On it's own merits (with out the Star Wars name) it's a reasonably good movie.
