A John Wick Prequel Could Be So Incredible

As or more intense storyline than JW One ending with why he retired and what led up to the death of Mrs. Wick. It just makes so much sense and would be widely watched and make some pretty good bucks.

I guess it will make money because it's a John Wick movie, but not every hero needs to have an origin story or have every single detail of their lives/journeys known. It ruins the mystery of the character.
"Show, don't tell" has a little known but equally as important counterpart that goes "Don't show, don't tell, quit while you're ahead." Star Wars suffered because Lucasfilm didn't heed these words.

Kinda want, but kinda don’t want at the same time. For two reasons.
1) No Keanu
2) We all have this image in our head of how awesome and badass John Wick was in his glory days. There’s nothing they could put on screen that could top the image IMO. It risks major disappoint.
But I would certainly watch and give it a shot.

Doesn’t have to be his rise or last mission. Just show him doing his normal shite while he was an assassin. Maybe he’s given 48 hours to wack 10 random crime bosses who are trying to encroach in new territory without paying respect to the Authority or High Table or whatever.
