Anyone else hoping Leo doesn't win just to see the melt?

The academy won't let him win. They all hate him

All I care about is Leo and Tom Hardy. That's fricking it.

I'm hoping he doesn't win because he doesn't deserve to win.

They haven't given him an award because he's never deserved one.

I'm going to stand up and clap if Leo wins tonight. I've loved him for so long, he really deserves it.

Also I don't recognize this girl, but this dress is stunning

I think Leo and Alejandro should win best actor & director, and clearly the Revenent gets best cinematography. But it's just not the best movie to me.
Imo best picture should be The Big Short or the Martian (haven't seen Bridge of Spies so I can't call that one). The Academy typically goes with certain types though and those fall outside unfortunately

Okay, how many posts will there be bitching and moaning when the "diversity" issue is mentioned in Rock's monologue, by the presenters or during acceptance speeches.

It's expected. Is it possible that any of the thin skinned wusses around here just ignore it? Nah. They'll have to take the time to drag out the tired old tropes about "Hollywood liberals".

If it was Gervais, of course. Rock is self-aware enough that he'll probably bring it up via making self-deprecating fun of the show and Hollywood liberalism if anything.
