What is it with some of the posters on this board and "Leo"? I mean the guy has talent, but there's something kind of creepy about the fan obsession around here.

if Leo ever went up against JGL in any category, this board would have a civil war

Was wolf wallstreet a comedy?
it was more funny than dramatic, but most thought it should fall under drama.

Idk man Leo owned it. I haven't seen "Her" yet but I'd say Leo > Bale this year.
And yes Leo was completely robbed a year ago.

Leo saved them from a sinking ship.

Looks like Haileigh is getting a little pudgy as puberty washes over her.

Not entirely - he believes that film is a subjective medium and that award shows are pointless.
That's what PR people are paid to come up with, but mostly he's an outcast weirdo.

Well, him too, I guess. There seems to be something bordering on drooling idolatry for both of guys. They're good and both have their moments, but I mean . . . come on.

One of the biggest screw ups ever.
Django deserved a nod for Best Actor (Waltz in this category) and Sam Jackson/Leo nominated for Best Supp Actor.

Actually, that's pretty much Allen's sentiment. He is a weirdo, but not really an outcast. People still line up to be in his movies.

American Hustle was a very well made movie.
However, its the Argo of this year.
Really good...but both will be forgotten in 10 years.

Hmmm, don't think so. Think it will have staying power. Just because of the time capsule angle. It definitely deserved the win.

I won't forget Argo. I watched it after the Batfleck announcement and after that I told all my friends that they are doing a disservice not watching it. Argo frickyaself.
