It’s interesting that Season 1’s pace was slower than the rest of the series.

I completely disagree. I never watched it when it was originally on, so I needed a few shows to watch after having surgery recently. I couldn’t stop watching 24. I think I watched the first 2 season in a week.

I loved it from episode 1 on tv. The best part about it was that you never know! A main character will be killed... a main character will be bad... a bad guy will be good... you could never predict it.

We watched it all the time back in the day. Great TV. I had my phone ring tone set to match the CTU ring.
It did get a bit ridiculous though. Jack would get shot, kill some people, torture somebody, get tortured, get shot again, shoot some more people, jump out of a plane, be in a couple of explosions and get in a couple of high speed chases all in the same day?
CTU had to be the worst place to work ever.

Season 5 was definitely the best. Season two was also really strong. I love the side characters like George Mason or sneaky Mike.
They weren’t afraid to kill off main characters either. Really was peak Television. The special episode where jack was in Africa was actually kinda fun as well.

This is the very first show that I ever got hooked on. I started on season 3 and fell on love, so I went to blockbuster and rented all of season 1 and 2. Those were the good ol days. Loved going to blockbuster.

I started on season 6. Went to Blockbuster and got seasons 1-5 to binge. That was an awesome summer
