quote:

4/12 - Scream 4

tired of sequals to ok movies probably won't see this until it shows on TV one night and i have nothing else to do

quote:

Fast Five (Fast and Furious 5)

read response above
quote:

Thor

could be good

quote:

Kung Fu Panda 2
The Hangover 2

read repsonse for scream 4 (yes the hangover was good but i don't think it will be any better then the first)
quote:

The Tree of Life

hmmm all i have to say after watching the traier

quote:

X-Men: First Class

another remake but who knows could be good
quote:

Super 8

could be very good will probably wait till I see reviews before I see it
quote:

Green Lantern

same as above

quote:

Disney'Pixar's Cars 2

its pixar i can't wait

quote:

Rise of the Apes

more sequals
quote:

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

again another sequal but i've been a fan of these movies so maybe it will be good
quote:

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

one of the exceptions to the sequal rule (aka the more you make the worse htey get as you make them, so 1 will be best 2 will be worse then 1 but still good 3 will be ok depending on success of 1 and 2, and 4+ won't probably be that good)
quote:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part II

can't wait

quote:

captain America: The First Avenger
Cowboys & Aliens (Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford)

both could be good
quote:

The Smurfs - A CGI 80's remix.

I agree
quote:

Conan The Barbarian

quote:

Final Destination 5

quote:

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I

quote:

Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Out of the OP's list?
Maybe 2-3 movies.

I'll add Sucker Punch to the list simply because its Snyder and Source Code because i'd like to see how Duncan Jones follows up Moon.
Your Highness looks like it could be pretty funny.
Cantagion.
Also, Hugo Cabret... SCORSESE! Though its about a year away.

Holy fricking sequels and remakes, Batman!

And Ronon as Conan? (Yes, SG Atlantis Ronon) Do not see that one. Arnold killed that part.

So, as far as new shite, we get 3 superhero movies, 1 shity cgi/ real life cartoon, and 3 wild cards...

The three superhero movies I am taking a wait and see approach. I like the genre, but these movies have the potential to go either way.

The Tree of Life could be really good
Super 8, looking forward to it.
Cowboys & Aliens, will give it a go, but honestly not excited by the trailer.

4/12 - Scream 4 sequel
4/19 - Fast Five (Fast and Furious 5) sequel

5/20 - Thor
5/26 - Kung Fu Panda 2 sequel
5/26 - The Hangover 2 sequel

5/27 - The Tree of Life
6/3 - X-Men: First Class (Should be good. Lots of good actors and a great director) prequel
6/10 - Super 8
6/17 - Green Lantern
6/24 - Disney'Pixar's Cars 2 sequel
6/24 - Rise of the Apes (Yes, it is a Planet of the Apes movie ) prequel?
7/1 - Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Hopefully this one can redeem the franchise) sequel
7/8 - Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides sequel
7/15 - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part II sequel

7/22 - Captain America: The First Avenger
7/29 - Cowboys & Aliens (Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford)
7/29 - The Smurfs - A CGI 80's remix.
8/19 - Conan The Barbarian remake
8/26 - Final Destination 5 sequel
11/18 - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I sequel
12/16 - Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol (Tom Cruise's last go-round) sequel
12/16 - Sherlock Holmes II sequel

Final Destination 5 should be horrible.

I will never understand Transformers... DO they not care about story line? (Yes I know dumb question about a movie with alien machines) I mean in first one they destroy half of LA then in second one people do not know they exist, but based on preview of third one the government knew about since before 1969.

March, 25 Sucker Punch

Can't decide if I want to see it or not. On one hand it'll just be another Snyder CGI mess, but with pretty girls, guns, swords, ninjas, samurai, dragons, zeppelins, and mini-skirts.

Sucker Punch 1080p <- for geeks with big monitors and decent internet connections.

Sucker Punch (480p) <-- for everyone else.

You basically answered your own question.

Their initial arrival in LA was brushed off by the government. Therefore, their big coming out party was their transmission in the 2nd movie. Sector 7 was founded back before World War 2 so it makes since that the government is aware of their presence.

My only question is what the hell did they tell the people in that second city where the climax of the first movie took place. That is a plothole, but then again, I could really give a damn.
