I want to see (but don't have the money for everyone, obviously. got some tough choices):

Metric, Vampire Weekend, Belle & Sebastian, Chromeo, Robyn, Isis (maybe...they're breaking up so I may catch them 1 more time), Crowded House

on the fence about:
Yes, Iron Maiden, Konono No. 1, Tommy Emmanuel, The Big Pink, Boris, Broken Social Scene

for the frick of it:
Phish, Willie Nelson

For sure. The Hold Steady, in Milwaukee. Which means I'll be drinking heavily and singing (as per my normal Hold Steady ritual). I've been able to drink with them post-show twice, doubtful this time since it will be at a music festival (Summerfest). I think it'll be my 8th time seeing them live. Most of any band I've seen.

Maybe: The Black Keys, Band of Horses haven't checked into the rest too much yet.

We caught the coldplay tour with snow patrol in san antonio last summer, and john mayer at UT back in march.
I think kings of leon is gonna be in houston sometime this summer and I'm hoping it'll be at least as good as john mayer but I doubt it'll be even close to coldplay. They were just absolutely amazing. The silver sun pickups are coming to austin soon, too.
I am also more excited about catching daniel tosh on his tour than any concert coming up. I'd drive 6 hours to see that guy live

Going to ACL to see primarily the National, the Black Keys, and LCD Soundsystem. everyone else is secondary.

Already have my Hold Steady tickets. Probably will see 3-4 songs of the New Pornographers after my wedding receptions. Passion Pit is coming with Tokyo Police Club, would like to see that as well.

The Deer Tick is really good.
It fades a bit in the second half of the record, however.

Deer Tick and Blitzen Trapper today! And, a younger Baloo would probably be more interested in the Against Me! release. Still trying to decide how I feel about Teenage Fanclub. I've never been a big fan, but they have supposedly changed their sound, so I am curious how the grunge rock era survivors now sound. Still, they have a new album today.

One of the best celebrity attack pieces ever penned. Seriosuly, screw her. I hate her music anyway, so I'm late to the hate party, I got here early.

Yeah I only really liked the Kala tracks that Diplo, Timbaland, Blaqstarr, & Switch did for her. One of the most wryly funny things about the article is that she admitted to having no music talent, and only has a knack for slaving her producers into giving her the perfect product.

Cmon Andre, where you at.
Kind of like Kid Cudi too. His song with MGMT on his first album killed.

And it's not a big suprise, but of those lists... Arcade Fire is easily the album I want to hear the most. Even thought the first track doesnt blow me away.
