The total lack of self awareness in this post is hilarious, it’s been going on almost two years and still we have people claiming fraud even when the evidence is non existent. Instead of latching onto to insane conspiracy about how the Dems “rigged” the election despite nobody outside of that Trump circle claiming such how about just accepting that the simplest explanation which is, Trump ran an absolutely piss poor campaign in 2020 which was kind of surprising because in 2016 he ran a strong one, combined with the insanity of 2020, and many moderates were burnt out on Trump. They thought he’d be different but for the most part he wasn’t. He did many standard Republican things but he just happened to shite all over the establishment from time to time on Twitter or something

I disagree. I think Trump ran an amazing campaign. But if you watch cnn and msnbc you wouldn’t know that. Biden sat in his basement most of the time instead of campaigning while the mainstream media spread their lies and false narratives regarding our president and STILL had to CHEAT to win. Biden was not elected. He was SELECTED. And if you actually believe he received 81 million votes then you are either a liar or a dumbass. I starting to believe it’s both. Why don’t you actually watch the freaking movie before you come on here to speak ignorance. And let me ask you this. Are you actually happy with the direction of the country with this sitting president, that according to you won the election in historical fashion, with more votes than even Obama?

The truth of the matter is that Trump pissed off enough suburban moms and moderate Republicans to allow ballot harvesting to swing the election.
It sucks. I voted for Trump and would again today in a heartbeat. Our representatives were too worried about looking heartless in the face of COVID to put their feet down on mail in ballots. Urban areas are exceptionally easy places to ballot harvest en masse and Republican suburbs and rural areas are not.

All he ever did in 2020 was talk about how awesome he was and how great everyone was doing in the middle of a pandemic. In 2016 he actually sounded anti establishment and told people who he was going to actually listen to one’s the presidents of the past ignored again and again. It also helped that Clinton was a total dogshit candidate who believed she could say any dumb thing and still win.
Biden isn’t going to get anyone pumped up but he was never hated like Clinton was and that certainly played a factor.
And yes he received 81 million votes that happened we all saw it happen the fact that you can’t come to terms with reality is the problem. We were told time and time again to just wait for X to happen then Trump will be back but once X happened no evidence popped up and Biden was still president. Hell I can’t tell you how many times I heard wait for the audits but the only thing that came out of the audits was one county in Arizona showing that Biden gained more votes
Also I’ve seen enough Dinesh movies to know it’s the same thing again an again. He takes widely out of context videos, either misrepresents information or straight up lies, and tries to connect dots that don’t exist. If the election was actually stolen we would have actually seen something pop up from a place like WikiLeaks or some other third party instead we just get the same old shite from Trump and his circle.
And as far has Biden has done, I’d say about as well as I’d expect him too which isn’t much at all. I knew he would press hard for things like BBB, ending the war on drugs, fighting the pharmaceutical companies, breaking up the monopoly the oil companies have, and so on. Aside from getting out of Afghanistan he hasn’t done much at all aside from letting Manchin push his shite in

I don't even own a TV and certainly don't stream any nightly news show, but I can still tell you that Trump ran a crap campaign. Mainly because like with everything else he has done before, no competent person can stand to be around him for more than a few months, even the ones that are feeding off the frenzy of his rabid faithful.
As to why so many voters: As someone who drives by the early voting polling precinct everyday, there were more people voting every possible day waiting in long lines than I have ever seen there. I get y'all mostly want to hoot and holler at Stacey Abrams, but the GOP was so terrified of her and her group's ability to organize and get out the vote, they literally have tried changing every election law they can in the state.
Plenty of people who identify Democrat didn't want Biden. I certainly didn't vote for him in the Primary. Biden was chosen and pushed by DNC specifically to appeal to any centrists on both sides of the aisle who were just done with Trump's incompetence even more than his complete lack of morality. Speaking of which, you want to know why Trump kept up the charade post-election- so he could keep bilking his cult followers for every last dime. I will give him that, the one thing he is competent at is being a snake oil salesman par excellence.

Trump absolutely knows how to work a crowd it’s the sort of charisma and people skills that exist in the frontmen for the biggest bands. Trump found a group of people who felt they had been left behind and played into that hard. Hell in 2016 I thought he may just work out decently but of course when he actually became president he ruled pretty much like your standard Republican outside of a few things like not starting a new war, starting the end the Afghanistan war, the farm bill of 2018, and getting us out of NAFTA

Oil futures relate directly to gas prices. Daily gas prices are based on how much gas do we have, how much gas are we going to be able to produce and distribute, how much is it going to cost for us to produce in the future. Day one of Biden’s Presidency killed Keystone and future leases. As simple as those two things are, their implications are incredibly far reaching.
While I don’t agree with Biden, I understand him feeling the need to be so aggressive based on his campaign. While it sucks and I understand why he did it, his voters and supporters need to understand the consequences of those EOs. It sounds easy to say “end gas” but the consequences of that are what we’re seeing today.

Keystone was unfinished was going to be mainly used for exporting oil. It’s shut down had practically no effect on current prices. It was also questionable if it would ever be completed since Canada was even less of a fan of the pipeline. Meanwhile we had the CEO of BP state that they’re choosing to hold back on oil production because it’s what their share holders want. Since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war we’ve seen gas skyrocket even before the ban on Russian oil and even then the ban doesn’t justify the jump since we get very little of our oil from Russia. Hell I remember the pipeline hack last year and how the oil companies told us how they would have to raise price 50-60 cents a gallon but even long after the pipeline hack was resolved prices stayed high.
You may be able to put some small amount of blame on Biden but overall it has i way more to do with the supply chain crisis that is going around the entire world as well a the oil companies exerting their monopoly by jacking up prices.

We’re just going to have to leave it at the fact that we have differing views on how covid/Biden affect the daily price of gas. I genuinely mean that respectfully. There’s plenty of progressive posters I really disagree with but you usually make good faith arguments and I think you’re making it now. You explain things even if I come to a vastly different conclusion.

The Dems cheated Bernie out of the primaries because that is where the young vote was going, he was a threat to that hateful bitch Hillary. That pissed off a lot of the young Dem voters and stayed home which was a big break for Trump.
