There’s a biopic about Motley Crue? I’m sure their lives off the stage we’re pretty insane, but for the music’s sake Def Leopard would have been my preferred 80’s rock band

It's the combo of the two. One of the top 80's rock bands mixed with an unrivaled off-stage lifestyle.

Book was an excellent read that I breezed through and that's saying something with me and my normally getting tired after reading 10 pages

Last I heard, the producers and director were pushing to open the movie exactly like the book (Tommy Lee Squirter Story). Not sure if Netflix let them or not.

Def Leppard would have been interesting if only due to their drummer losing an arm.

The Crue, though? Not sure what there is of interest besides the Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson stuff.

Maybe they can add a scene from Denis Leary’s routine where they do two tons of coke then record a double-live album.

VHI actually made a decent one in the early 2000's called "Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story".

and Vince killing a guy and Nikki's O.D., etc. The book is great. I have high hopes for this.

Oh hell yes.
This looks great. The book was a blast to read.

On another note ole baw at :24 into the trailer is building himself quite a niche as an 80's dad in shows and movies

Despite having mostly unknowns (at the time) - although Anthony Michael Hall played Mutt Lange, it wasn't too bad.

The dad from Stranger Things? He also teaches at LSU when he isn't acting, he is a Professor in the School of Theater.

My only problem with the trailer is that they only used Kick Start My Heart.

I wanted some Too Fast For Love/Shout At The Devil/Looks That Kill/Wild Side.

I mean Wild Side is damn near narration for that trailer.

Good point. I like Kickstart My Heart, but it's not their best song.

Dude, they're the most unlikely success story maybe in Rock history.

The ultimate dirtbag garage band who ended up playing huge stadiums and are one of the best-selling bands of all-time.

They went from being formed to International fame in just two years. And their first year they didn't even have a fricking name.

It's like they weren't even trying to be big (pretty sure they just wanted to party and get laid) and hit lightning in a bottle.

People want top know, how the frick did that happen? It's the craziest jump from nobodies to worldwide rock stars.

Not jazzed by the cast though.
