Why wouldn’t she? Selfish for Alex

I think that moment was suppose to support mother's intuition. Or something similar. I dont dissect these things that deep

Loved both 1923 and 1883. I loved Yellowstone but I believe it dragged out too long. 3-4 seasons would have been enough.

The time line doesn’t seem to add up. Spencer had to be pushing 50 in 1923. He was a young boy in 1883. 1883-1923 is 40 years.

Spenser hadn't even been born in 1883.

His brother John was the little boy in 1883. He was 5.
Spencer was likely born around 1888 bc he was a little boy in the flashbacks to 1893 from Yellowstone.
Of course TS has messed that storyline as well.
In S1 when Spencer first met Alex, he said he was 5 when the maneaters of Tsavago were killed. That happened in 1898.
So who knows his age?!

Apparently the Yellowstone universe is the best place to commit a major crime without doing time.

Let’s review:

IED goes off in Beth’s office.
The state AG is whacked in his own home.
Multiple children are assaulted at the Indian school.
Wealthy Mr Whitfield gets plugged as well as his concubine, house razed.

Spencer carried that gun for 2 seasons and didn’t get to even keep it

What's this about? He shot Tommy Gun guy, through a car, with it and took out two dudes with one shot outside the house with the elephant gun.

Talking about some other gun?

You pretty spot on. Margaret wrote to Jacob to come help the Yellowstone and he arrived in 1894 to find Margaret frozen to death and John I and Spencer near death.

Ironically, Spencer had to witness his mother and wife dies from exposure to cold.

While watching I noticed that it appears the road she is on is next to a railroad embankment, so was thinking that Spencer's train will come right by her. The way Sheridan has jumbled up Spencer's train journey, it's plausible.

Called that one.

Did no one else find it odd that Cara is just yucking it up with Landman Hoe minutes after she buried her son? I get she's strong, but wtf.

Wasn't Jack Cara and Jacob's great nephew?

If so, maybe that's why she seemed not to care much. It just seemed really over the top, trying to constantly project strength because life was so hard.

I get this point. I just have been confused over the Dutton family tree and got even more confused when I saw that about Jack being her son

His dad John, Spencer's older brother, was their nephew.

John was killed in the gun battle with a shot to the head while Jacob got lit up with the Tommy gun yet lived.
