Clearly - one is better/superior.

Curious as to how/what the "general" board thinks/feels.

Both are good. One is excellent.

Both are very good, but I just prefer BCS. Some of the family scenes in BB were just painful to get thru.

Why did you add the stupid squiggly things?

I don’t think one is clearly better. They are both very good.

And yes. Why did you put those things in your title?

BCS is outstanding, but I’m still going with Breaking Bad.

Maybe that will change by the end of the series, but it will be hard to top, IMO.

I'll wait until BCS is finished until comparing

But I don't think one is "clearly" better than the other at this point

BCS in my opinion. BB is awesome but it just sort of takes longer than it should with Walt and his endless adventures and trying to juggle it with his family problems. Both good though, then again I don't have BB as a Tier 1 show, with the likes or the Wire or Sopranos, in the first place. its more top Tier 2 show.

Having seen both i will go with BCS because Bob is underrated and Nacho and Mike really get to shine.

It's not fair to answer this until BCS is over. One of the things that made BB so great was the last several episodes of the series.

I think however they close BCS out will probably be the deciding factor.

I'm going to say that the overall arc of BB puts it on top ~*~ right now ~*~, but BCS has the ability to surpass it if they pull it together as expertly as I expect they will.

BB is phenomenal on a first watch. I’ve done two rewatches and it gets a little worse each time and makes me realize how much wasted time there is. The anticipation and constant buildup the first time I watched it makes it hard to beat.

Overall I’d take BB.

So far- BCS.

I never watched BB until I was already 3 seasons in to BCS, or whichever season waited two fricking years until the next one. I had no recourse but to binge BB.

As I read another person write once... to paraphrase: BB was the writers and directors finding their stride. BCS is the main event.

Watched all of BB as it was being released, was awesome in anticiaptation. I couldn't even get through the first season of BCS. So there's that. BB all day.

Speaking of slow.....

I remember one episode of BB where the ENTIRE episode was about the "RV GENERATOR" that would'nt start!?!

That's It! Nothing else happened. Stuck in the desert with a broken Generator & no tools!

I had already become accustomed and downright astonished at the often "slow as molasses" pace, tedious, inconsequential scenes/takes, odd chemistry & cobbled together cast, pedestrian writing/dialogue & poorly cobbled together cast.

I had already been asking myself how/what/why could this series be garnering all this talk & attention!?!
And then came the "GENERATOR" episode. I literally could not believe they spent the whole episode on nothing but that motor not cranking!

I somehow got through the whole series. It was OK.
Sometimes good. Often very pedestrian. Average at best acting. Like many other series, BB was, in my opinion, colossally overrated!!

Exactly my thoughts

Yeah, and the whole Mesa Verde law firm shite was entrancing. Boring legal drama. BB is far better. Everyone being much older in BCS, which takes place much earlier, is also an annoyance. I like BCS but its not in the same tier as BB.

Yeah the whole “BB has so many boring episodes compared to BCS” stance never made sense to me

Breaking bad

No one would give a shite about this world or these characters without that foundation.
