Does he play again for Duke?

More importantly does this lead to the ending of the one and done rule?

LINK . That was quick.

They’ve been actively talking about ending it soon anyway. If they weren’t, I doubt this would end it given other injuries we’ve seen to potential lottery picks.

It should be like baseball. Either go pro out of high school or sign with a school and stay for at least 3 years.

I think that should be the ncaa rule period. If leagues like the NFL, want to see them mature, they make their own rule that players can’t be drafted until a certain age or year in college.

Not really a great comparison to Zion. I don't know if anyone is. It feels like he's the most hyped NBA prospect since Lebron.

I'm glad the NFL does that. Wouldn't want a 17-18 year old going straight to the NFL.

michael porter was the #2 player in his class and was thought to be a shoe in for a top 5 draft pick. basically where zion is/was except porter got hurt 5 minutes into the season and didnt a chance to build the hype like zion has

All the draft rules are set by the league, not the college

Why would Zion being hurt end the one and done rule? He could have just sat out like Greedy and Fournette did. Nobody is making him play.

Except Porter went to Missouri and would have never gotten the hype train like a Duke player would.

He was being hyped as the shoe in for the #1 pick even at Mizzou. And Martin totally mismanaged that situation.

They need to just to let them go straight to the NBA.

Then, if they don't, you have to stay in school for 2 years minimum.

Does the NBA Players Association care about college freshmen? I don't know why they would. Also Zion is still going to go one or two even if his knee is mangled.

Considering how many games he played in college and the NBA? No.

How the frick is the NCAA going to force kids from entering the draft if they are draft eligible in the league?
