I know there are at least 2 Teurlings parents that have portions of it on their phone, HOWEVER they aren't releasing it to the public. Also can't confirm if they supplied it to the LHSAA at this point.

Seems too harsh for the players, not harsh enough for the coaches, from the story I heard there was alot of tension in pregame, the coaches could have possibly diffused this before the melee.

Word I got is Teurlings kid slid into second base spikes up and cut ZHS 2nd baseman Hebert. Before the first half of the inning was over, Teurlings kids rushed the field and ZHS followed suit. Teurlings parent/ adult attacked the ZHS third baseman.
Not sure about the trash talk coming into the game, or during the game.
I would imagine both teams will appeal.

I'm not saying that. However, the LHSAA's reason for banning TCHS says nothing about the actions of the players.

The ban stems from the fact that the coaches were not able to get control of the situation. From what I understand this fight went on long enough for parents to spill on the field.

According to the Advocate story, Zachary was determined to be the instigating party. Apparently there was taunting on the part of Zachary players prior to the game, and when the Zachary coach was informed did nothing. Things then got out of hand with the play at second base in the first inning.
The taunting, in-your-face style has been the Zachary style in baseball for the past few years. It is not a shock to hear that it got out of hand and that they were found by the investigators to be the instigators of this episode.
