Miro Heiskanen and Roope Hintz are locked up until the end of the decade for a combined Cap Hit of less than $17 million AAV

GeauxAggie is slacking.

Really looking forward to this Leafs game tonight. It's going to be panic at the disco if they lose.

Bunting has a fresh three game suspension too.

Maybe Tavares will step up carry the Leafs on his back in a big post season game...

I'm ready for tonight. Would be great to win games 1 and 2 on the road. Let's go Bolts!

The Canes will never have some of the all-time crowds and atmospheres that the historic teams do, but I went to last night’s game and had a blast. You can also get really good tickets bc not fighting fanatics. We were probably 10 rows up dead center ice, can’t beat that!

Team is soft, though, and doesn’t have real championship chances (from my decidedly average-level hockey fan)

Canes have had damn good playoff crowds the past few years. Don't sell yourself short.

Remember that they are 25 years old. They are getting a younger crowd that has been Canes fans their entire life now instead of rooting for them as a 2nd team.

It's only going to get better as the years go on.

That is interesting ESPN and TBS is having doubleheaders up against each other. I don't think that happened last year.

Glad some are on the tnt family. ESPN’s broadcast of these games is truly horrendous. It’s nice they are on espn to grow the sport and get casual viewers, but they are awful.

TBS's intermission show is better. And they actually have a postgame, unlike ESPN.

While I appreciate ESPN's foray back into NHL, I prefer TNT's coverage of the west playoffs last year. Surprised to see ESPN getting majority of the games this year.

All the home teams are in early "must win" mode tonight, should be interesting which ones can avoid the 0-2 going on the road

Kraken could be the first team to ever go up 2-0 on the road in first playoff series.

Really looking forward to Leafs game.

Truck Drivers going in dry tonight. This guy will be a big reason why:

Team going to rally around this and the lack of pedals on the bikes to head back to the calmness of White Noise up 2-0.

Biz and the gang single handedly kept my sanity last year whilst recovering from knee surgery during the playoffs. I miss that whole team. Then again, Mess and Chelios are so awesome with their analysis. Wish they could just bottle that somehow.

Toronto is better off without him in the playoffs. Too undisciplined, too many stupid penalties plus officials would be watching him like hawks. Toronto has to get way more power plays than Tampa the rest of the way to win. They won't do that with Bunting in the lineup.

This will be a replay of the Dallas-Minnesota game from last night. Colorado should be pissed about losing to what they consider to be an expansion team and will have red asses tonight. Seattle is going to learn what is like to be on the receiving end when a really good team decides to send a message.

I'm not a fan of burning records but I am willing to make an exception for this horrendous bro-country remake of All Right Now ESPN is using as their playoff hockey theme.
