Kaufman from PBS is exactly the kind of kid LSU needs for special teams. He isn't an SEC regular defensive player but he would be awesome on kick and punt coverage

Kavanaugh?

Call on fumble in end zone was right ball came out before the ball crossed the goal line

When bps pbs fumbled he bounced on ground before that ball came out....that was blown led to STM score

Also giving STM four timeouts in 2nd half was pretty bad - especially the last one

The asterisk should be because the refs made that horrible call that took that STM TD away. Those refs were horrible. Head ref was limping the whole game.

Better look at film ball was out before he crossed the goal line

And no mention of fumble caused by ground on pbs qb. That led to a score

And the no PI two plays before game winner

Reb beer on pick no....kid ran into his own guy and then into pbs WR

Whose jersey he grabbed and held onto. Should have been defensive holding

And did u see pbs qb hit ground then ball came out - I guess that's ok

If the ball carrier loses possession of the ball before it crosses the goal line it's not a TD....no matter how bad STM wanted it that way the ball must be possessed as it crosses the plane - one of the oldest rules in football

He lost the ball before he crossed the goal line

But I felt that his knee was down before he lost the ball

With PBS losing 3 of 4 backs next year, Kavanaugh probably won't leave the field.

Once again. Stm did not have 4 timeouts. The scoreboard was wrong. Every official on the field had the correct count. Pbs took a timeout early in the half and it came off STM's total on the scoreboard. watch the film and count.

PBS came out on 4th and 2 and tried the hidden player trick. It didn't work, they called TO and the scoreboard took it off STM's total.

The white hat had it correct on his game card the whole time.

Kav will definely play more RB next year. They have some young freshmen that can play ball. They're not very big but they can roll and with a year in the weight room I think they'll be serviceable. Plus, I've been told that Tyree Lomax is going to play football for his senior year. if that's the case, Kav won't have to play both ways.

Pretty big error. Parkview probably isn't taking a knee and losing 7 yards each down if they know stm has 3 timeouts instead of 2.

Knee was down while touching the ball but the strip was well in process at that point

The pbs qb was way way more down

The coaches can always ask the officials.

The scoreboard should match. So the coach should have to ask the score, the time left, how much time on the play clock? He shouldn't have to ask these things. It's not pee wee football.

Most head coaches write down and keep a note of each timeout taken and when it was taken for both teams. I thought this was common knowledge. I guess some coaches don't pay attention in some of those conferences they go to. Some even go as far as recording each penalty including type of penalty, the number of their player who commited the penalty, and the time of the game so maybe they can review it on film and make corrections with the player. Just sayin.
