In high school I would hang with Lenard Scott first 60 yards and then he would start to do his thing... Lenard was a beast at Zachary...

That's funny, because Leonard Scott holds the world junior record for the 55m dash. No one aged 19 or younger has run as fast as him for 55 meters, ever. But, yeah, I can totally see you hanging with him in a race for about 60 yards (aka 54.864 meters).

Y'know, it reminds me of when I was a kid and used to horse around on the golf course with another lad named Woods. I could hang with him for the first 15 holes or so, but once we made that last turn for home he would just light me up. Every time, man. It really sucked, because I outdrove him on almost every hole.

I beleive darryljames, because I think I know who he is, and nsudemon, even though he may be exaggerating his time.

I'm sorry let me clarify better by my words. Normally leonard would jump out the box and nobody was 15 yards from him just at the start.. When I mean hang. I meant closer than most at that point. By no means was I neck and neck or even a right on his tail. Nobody ever was close to him. Travis Minor has some good runs against him from what I remember though. It was an honor to race against him twice. I'm not at all comparing my speed to his. He was simply amazing.....So if I came across as comparing myself to his speed I will take those comments back. I didn't mean it in that way.

Come on TigahRag, get it over with.. I know you gonna come down on me on this one....lol..

I was 6'1 and 215 lbs (played guard and DB), clocked at 4.61 if I recall correctly. Maybe a 4.51 now I think about it. Had to give up football though because I was in a pretty popular local band, and then I graduated HS a year early (entered college 1 yr early)

You can go ahead and deduct off my time if you like since i was running on the old school astro-turf versus grass, etc. etc. I don't know what deduction formula to use.. lol.. I'll tell you what though. You could move on that stuff. I think the reason they pulled it up was because we had 7 players tear their ACL in one season. It was some mean stuff.

When did you finish at Baylor? My sister just finished last spring. She played on the softball team.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the TM7 4.5 40 benchmark yet. Best thread in awhile. Didn't play football, ran a 4.6 though I'm 5'5.

ETA: Sorry I'm also dyslexic, reversed the numbers, 6.4. Maybe that's what happened here, just a bunch of dyslexia?
