If Stetson Bennett is the Heisman, then this year is more of a fluke than Alabama’s COVID trophy
I get that he’s your guy, but he’s a worser candidate than Troy Smith

Anyone who has an issue with him being listed as a heisman finalist is retarded or an arse.

Caleb is like -2200 to win. If he loses, Vegas will get absolute housed.
And the 2nd favorite is Duggan at +2000
Bryce Young was only -200 odds on December 2nd last year. And he won it going away.
The odds this year are the biggest gap in history probably since O.J. If Caleb doesn't win it, shennanigans.

I like that this is the most wide open and unpredictable finalist ceremony I can ever remember. I have no idea who will win. Most years, there's an obvious candidate that wins.

Then Vegas is fricked...because its the most one-sided odds in 20 years.

Caleb Williams is a lock to win. Straw polls that have been released i the last 24-48 hours pretty much confirm this. He’s going to win, and it’s going to be a landslide.

This is Heisman worthy these days?

So is this just QB’s on the best teams that score a lot of points award now?
Does anyone think either of these 4 are the best players in America?

Burrow was a much bigger favorite FYI.
Was -1000 after Alabama and that grew to -30000 or -25000 depending on the article/book after the SEC Championship.

Interesting. This is the first time in a long time that I have no idea who will win.

So you might want to rethink that

I would vote Bowers or Jalen Carter even with the missing games over Bennett and wouldn't think twice about it, but I don't think their goal is to get the "best player" anymore.

Yeah sort of forgot about what a huge favorite Burrow was.
He's so unassuming, it's like he "quietly" won.

I look at it like this. It’s Dugan and it should not be close. He was more valuable to his team that the others.

A QB still has to get him the ball and a receiver is in only as good as his QB. So an argument for Brock is actually an argument for Stetson.

Now this I can get behind.

Something to chew on:
Stet has passed for 3,300 in the first 3 quarters of games this season.
He has only thrown 35 passes TOTAL in the 4Q this season. Mainly due to the Dawgs having the game in hand and Kirby running clock.
Now think if Stet passed for just half of his 3,300 in the 4Q? He'd be at 5,075 yds and have 30 TD's.
