I went to Walkups rival high school (he went to Deer Park, I went to La Porte). I remember watching both him and his brother play and both were very good pesky guys that hustled their asses off. I hated them back then, but I respect their game.

Heard he was also a good soccer player back in the day.

Yeah he's a class under me, so I've seen 3/4 of his career live. The progression from his freshman year till now is outstanding. He was a Kaspar recruit, but I have no doubt being under Underwood these past 3 years expedited his progress. He's a fun and phenomenal player to watch.
