You think that players are given a quick morphine injection after a crazy injury?

I was just wondering that. They put me to sleep when I snapped mine.

I’m sure they got a doc in the training room that hits them with dilaudid if it’s bad.

They should at least have these for those type of injuries

Most of the time with a serious injury like that you go numb and don’t feel intense pain for very long or so I have been told.

I snapped my ankle during football practice my senior year and I didn't feel a thing. Just felt and heard 2 pops and my foot was dangling beneath my leg. First time I felt pain was after the surgery when it was swollen inside the hard cast. Some of the worst pain of my life.

I heard your body goes into shock killing the pain temporarily…. but do not want to find out for myself of that is true or not.

Shock is what you try to avoid someone going into... Once they do, everything becomes unpredictable

I would hope so. A gruesome injury like that every option should be available to make the pain tolerable.
