I think some are factoring in it's Griffens first season of playing NBA minutes as compared to Love's third season.
age 22 vs age 21 (and he'll be 22 in march)
they're like 6 months apart, so they're essentially the same age

that's not what he meant when he was talking about it being his first season playing nba minutes.

that's not really relevant
age means more than experience in the NBA in terms of development
age means more than experience in the NBA in terms of development

I'd take Love.
Like his game, could probably sign him for less than Griffin, and I think he has a much better chance to stay healthy in his career than Griffin does.

that's fine. except we have already declared that they are "essentially the same age" so unless you are rendering experience entirely meaningless, it is very relevant.

it's not entirely meaningless, but typically by 22-23 it has run its course in development
at least with the elite

love is a much, much more offensively skilled player. love is so much more advanced that it's crazy
It's his 3rd season.
Griffin has been averaging 23 and 13 the past two months, in his first season. He's a pretty good passer and a better defender than love is already. No disrespect to Love, he's a stud, but this really isn't debatable.

i wouldnt be surprised. he got to take some notes from the bench and shite which is pretty similar to actually playing against the guys and all that stuff.

Griffin more marketable.

That's not even remotely true in the NBA.

I'll say this..
I would probably take Griffin. Why? Mostly, he's the more dominant force down low. In today's NBA it is hard to be successful if you don't have that guy you can count on to score in crunch time. That would be Griffin > Love.
With that being said, Love might be the most well-rounded player in the NBA. He can literally do everything, and do it well. When its all said and done, if Love has the better career, I would be far from surprised.

Kevin Love.
Griffin would eat my soul at some point and I really don't feel like dealing with that kind of thing.

Most well rounded big, yeah...
You don't honestly believe that Love is more well-rounded than someone like Lebron, Wade, or Kobe right?
