How the hell do you start a game that gets washed out in the 2nd inning? This game had no hope of being played and now both teams have burned their #1 starters. This sucks for baseball fans.

My initial reaction was that this hurts Detroit a lot more. But people don't realize how good Fister has been since joining detoit. Statistically, he has been better than Verlander the last month or so.

If Fister pitches twice and this limits Sabathia to only one start, it might be advantageous to detroit.

My favorite part about this game is that MLB decided to set it for 8:37 again tonight...when the forecast calls for cloudy skies but low chance of rain all day....

You realize the D'backs won the West with Willie Bloomquist as the leadoff hitter right? He gets on base less often than Jeter and is probably about the same speed.
