I don't think Nova will cave though. Dude is cocky as frick.

Lets see how he handles it IF they are down a game. VERY DIFFERENT than being UP a game.

Very possible... BUT IF DET wins THIS game??? WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't think it swings that way for either.

Fister & Scherzer = 0 Postseason Starts
Nova = 0 Postseason Starts

Outside of Verlander & CC, there isn't much experience here for either staff.

I don't really think it'll get to Nova.

After the way he pitched after his re-call up midseason, I have faith he can handle quite a bit.

I agree with this. However being down 1-0 in the series will put a TON of pressure om Nova. Just sayin.

Pretty crazy that guys with some good postseason experience (Hughes and Burnett) are both in the BP.

If it was anyone BUT Nova, I would be really worried.

With him, I'm only kinda worried. His stats are insane when it comes to tight games/high pressure situations.

Postseason is a different animal, but I like our chances with Nova. On the other hand....Garcia in Game 3.....

He could start burnett and save us any problems.

I honestly believe that if Hughes didn't go down late, he would have been our 3rd man. I would've been cool with that.

I'm predicting a loss.

But I don't know, really. Just like I didn't know what to expect with him at the start of the season.

Burnett has actually been better than Garcia over the last 4 weeks

Even with the time between starts, I'd still go Hughes Game 3.

Either one will make Ajax look lost at the plate.

But that's not very hard

Ajax is a strikeout machine. There's no denying that.

I hope he improves, FWIW.
