If yanks could do it by giving up low level prospects and mainly eating salary I would jump on it.

I would take Danks and have Hughes as 6th man type deal. Put him back in bullpen with Joba

Yeah. I have a feeling we'll make a strong push on Darvish but IDK if I like that idea.

CC
Danks
AJ
Nova
Garcia
Hughes (spot)

Bullpen:
Thornton
Hughes
Joba
Robertson
Soriano
Mo

That is a pretty solid staff IMO.

Doubt we go for Darvish, may kick tires but Yankees haven't had much luck with imports in pitching.

Danks would make solid 2/3 and push Garcia to 5th, Burnett to 3/4 and Nova 2/4. Then you have Hughes, Noesi, and even Joba who could start.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one of Banuelos/Betances/Noesi get some solid time in the rotation this year.

Yeah but what do we really NEED right now? Starting pitching. We won't get retarded with the deal, but I wouldn't be surprised if we land him.

If there is any way that Cashman can keep Banuelos out of the rotation this year, he is going to do it. Manny still has some learning to do at AAA. I would like to see Betances sooner.

September expanded rosters, Yankees try 8 man rotation..

I do not think yanks post the 30-40 million posting fee honestly

Trade Manny to Rays for Price since we know Rays won't be able to afford him soon

david price is not worth that... what are we going to do without a corner outfielder and 2 solid bullpen pitchers... not to mention a guy who could produce just as well as price in manny...

Betances will not be a starter. He'll move to set up man/closer when Mo hangs it up.

I like the idea of getting Thornton... but don't we basically already have the same exact pitcher in Boone Logan?

It is the one you play with a ball and a stick huh? A player can get either a strike or a spare?

Glad to see that Cory Wade isn't a free agent. The pen is going to be even better than it was last year.

Mo
D-Rob
Soriano
Joba/Hughes
Wade
Logan
Noesi

Possibly Thornton. And don't forget about Feliciano. I don't know if he's going to be healthy or not, but he's another lefty.
