You would assume that there could be some security cameras overseeing the Astros’ clubhouse (as w other teams). MLB can and should ask for this footage, if it exists.
Careful Buster...don't walk into the path of woke Twitter with this kind of logic.

Have you ever gandered over to Peter Gammons twitter?
Holy hell the man is more political than baseball.

Was he the one that reported on that fake story about Keuchel?
Posted on 10/21/19 at 11:43 pm to PrimeTime Money
He tweeted out some stuff he overheard Keuchel saying to teammates last year
Keuchel was bragging about getting out of a photo event or something and he sent it out on Twitter. Not smart

Correct

This whole thing is unnecessary drama.
Even if this guy did straight up look at a few female reporters and stick his tongue out at them and taunt them and brag about how glad he is to have Osuna, who gives a shite?
I mean seriously, even if this story was 100% true from the reporter, who cares?

If it’s true it’s a dumb thing for a high level employee to do. It will also likely disappear in like 48 hours

Heres another side to think of. This Taubman guy is bit of a dweeb, and I could see these female reporters having some distasteful views of him especially when hes drunk.
You know the whole concept of...if hes hot it's not assault, if hes ugly its assault.

No. I wrote off Gammons as a Red Sox hack, years and years before twitter.
He was doing a spot on ESPN and he talked about the Astros rookie starting pitcher Fernando Nieve.... Gammons called him Fransisco Neeve but then moved on to talk about a Red Sox prospect named Jed Lowrie who was in AA at the time and rattled off Lowrie's stats.
You can't get a major league pitchers name right but you can damn sure rattle of a mid level Sox prospects yearly stat line.

I mean yeah, it would be distasteful of him if it was true. But the story is trying to make it out as some great toxic scourge that has infected locker rooms that needs to be eradicated and trying to connect it to larger social issues and blah blah. It’s all a bunch of self-important journalist nonsense.
Even if he said something kind of inappropriate and distasteful, so what. They don’t have to like him anymore. They don’t need to try and blow it up into something in the media.

They definitely feel like they do. If they have the opportunity to appear self-righteous, they'll take it.

Between us, absolutely. Now tell that to these female journalists and see what happens...

I mean just look at the last line of the original tweet
quote:
On a systemic problem, in Houston and across the league:
Its systemic. We've got to start a conversation. The patriarchy still controls MLB.
