Win or lose, the bandwagon Yankees fan base have proven themselves to once again be completely unbearable
Didn’t even know this board had sidewalk Yankees fans until the playoffs came around

What an awesome way to win a playoff game.
Happened so fast that FS1 almost missed it

Mark Teixeira saying astros lucky to get 1 of 2...unbiased of course since he didn’t play more than half his career as a yankee. Astros hit a ton of balls hard that didn’t fall early last night with guys on. They were the unlucky team last night imo

Yeah, that sparkling relief pitching was all just luck.

Bruh our relief kept them scoreless

Astros 4/9 vs Paxton, 2/27 against Yankees relief. Of course one was a big one
Yankees used 9 pitchers who threw a combined 175 pitches
Astros used 6 who threw a combined 175 pitches

Conditions look like they could allow the game to be played if it stays to the east. Also 10-20 mph winds going to right field should make for a fun HR derby

Regarding #ALCS game 4 on Wednesday, GFS model forecast of rainfall from 8PM-2AM ET shows most of it off to the east of NYC. Euro model a bit slower. It will be a close call on Wednesday...probably 50/50 right now. Game 3 looks fine.

At this point, I would say you have to plan on the game being played, as it's too close to call. Also looks fairly breezy Wednesday...northerly wind 10-20 mph...blowing left to right across the ballpark.

Need to get to Severino early in GM3, get that bullpen working with 3 games in a row (pending weather)

Thank god the Stros pulled it off or being this tired at work would have been hell.
These guys got to get better with RISP 1-10 ain't gonna cut it.

3 hits against the Yankees relievers, including two HR.

If Correa walks us off, I vow to quit calling him Mr. Miss Texas. For a few days. I really think I can do it.
My wife said I can't call him Mr. Glass until the end of this series.

Can’t find Greinke
He’s a weird dude. His press conferences are the definition of cringe. From what I can tell, he doesn’t give a sh*t about, well, anything.
I hope he pitches well in Game 5, but you’ll never see me rocking a Greinke Jersey/shirt/socks.

That final at-bat and Walk Off Homerun was the best at-bat I've seen an Astro take in a while. The Stros will definitely need to keep that up.
The Yank hitters are benefitting from lots of analysis done on the Stros pitching. Yank hitters are very well-schooled.

What’s the deal with Greinke? Have heard reports that he has social anxiety. Have also heard he’s just strictly in it for the money and doesn’t care.
Either way it’s kind of odd that he wasn’t celebrating with the rest of the team on the field last night after sitting in the dugout all night.

Hopefully that lack of emotion will help him in the Bronx. We'll need it.

At first I thought it was social anxiety, but he makes sarcastic remarks in between the socially awkward responses he gives that resemble no anxiety, so I don’t think you can give him that label.
I really think he is just a complete dick and is only doing this for the money, which goes against everything the Astros Clubhouse represents.
I kinda wish he was a rental, but I think we’re stuck with this guy for another 2 or 3 years, and we’re paying him what we should be paying Gerrit Cole the next three years.
