The more I read the individual player notes and everything, I'm starting to wonder how much more shite there is out there. I don't think this is everything Shapiro said. This is only what Yahoo could corroborate. I think this goes deeper, but we probably will never know everything.

I wonder if the U will try to self-impose penalties to appease the NCAA. They can start by canceling the 2011 season.

Good news for Bama and Auburn. By the time the NCAA finishes this investigation the statue of limitations will void Camgate and Suitgate

I was wondering the same thing. If the feds start sniffing around (because some of the allegations were criminal), it'll get real interesting.

Which only adds to the credibility of Charles R and Dan W. If this was oe of the hacks like Thayer, SBB, Travis, they would have included everything they heard. They worked patiently for 10 months to put this story out. They are not the guys I want to see in Auburn, but my hats off to them. They have redeemed journalism just a little this afternoon. Wish there were more like them.

As college football fans, how do we take this news? Regardless of our own personal feelings toward The U.

Are we happy?

Or are we disapointed because one of college footballs biggest names is about to have a hammer dropped on them that is unprecedented?

I don't see a situation where they don't get the "death penalty". This seems worse than what SMU was doing.

Unprecedented

You can't be happy about it. Even with their bandwagon reputation, there is a Miami fan somewhere in this world to feel sorry for. Glad its not LSU though.

I feel bad for the kids who are there now and never did anything wrong and are going to get buttfricked. I feel really bad for Al Golden who I think is a tremendous up and coming coach.

This shite could happen anywhere and I think to an extent it does happen. Not on the same scale of course, this is just insane, but just one person can do all of this...it's scary to think about.

At some point the NCAA is rapidly approaching a crossroads where we need to scour the sport clean like the MLB did with steroids, or turn a blind eye to the current system...like they do in basketball.

Agreed. I hate Miami more than any other school.. yet this news is just flat out discusting to me.

It's fun to point and laugh now because it's so ridiculous... but once they are punished it's not going to be so funny anymore.

Sucks to see.. but they did bring it on themselves. I hope one day the progam can be restored, and I will be rooting for that to happen.

They need to scour their own arse clean first for having the biggest pile of shite in the history of college sports as the head of their COI

Some Universities would try to stop it if they knew, but kids in college don't turn down parties on a yacht with naked women and tubs full of cash.
