pretty sure there's an SEC rule against it

I could be wrong, though.

this. its an sec rule, not an ncaa rule.

There's an SEC rule against cowbells, too, but that doesn't stop the people at Moo State.

Could you imagine how much more money LSU could make if TS wasn't on campus?
none, because you still cannot sell alcohol at an SEC event, no matter where it is

They better wait until after LSU game.
Figured they might as well use the game as a fundraiser.

right. yet every single one of my irl friends tries to tell me differently. jeez. and easily 99.9% of the people on this board believe that. its like no one read the article debunking this rumor last year or the year before.

if the sec doesnt have a ban on it then LSU should sell beer in the stadium.

it really makes no sense to not sell it esp if there isnt a league ban on it. this could be even more money for our program and you dont isolate the average fan. its a win/win for LSU. You found a way to add even more money and still keep the average fan.

Drunken hillbillies and coonasses stuffed in a stadium getting loaded on beer will probably bring this idea to an end, but what a great festive event it would be.

Ten Cent Beer Night will ensue.

Tulane has sold beer at Fogelman Arena and Turchin Stadium for years, and both are on campus.

Kent State sells beer and runs beer specials in their stadium.

Only till halftime and the stadium is a pretty good distance from what I consider the campus.

ETA: The only reason Kent still does this is to give a reason for students to go to the games.
