That isn't the point though, he has obviously changed who he is for the better. OJ is in jail

So if OJ wasnt in jail, you wouldnt care that he killed two people?

He did take a plea deal in which he stated he did in fact help cover it up.

Plus they never found the suit he was wearing which was stained in blood by all accounts.

bullshite. People don't care about his murder case. They only use that to justify their hate.

It is not THE reason.

They hate him because he's so over-the-top emotional and religious. Same reason people hate Tebow.

By your logic, shouldnt we think those personalities are more likely guilty BECAUSE the government has been wrong before like you implied? The government system found them innocent afterall
No because the accusation already happened.

He said when people get ACCUSED of a crime, people automatically think they are guilty.

He said nothing at all about the outcome of a case.

Hey dumbass, where is your proof? OJ has been living a shite life, never changed who he is, regardless if he was in jail or not he still had major problems, dumbass.

Because I don't believe you should "like" someone just because they can run fast or hit hard. And they shouldn't be absolved of likely helping to cover up a murder just because they became all religious.

thanks for proving my point.

Obviously because one famous (black) guy may have gotten away with a crime every other famous (black) guy that gets accused of a crime is guilty.

As here I thought people are innocent until PROVEN guilty in the US.

Holier than thou

Ray can't run fast or hit hard, he is an inspirational leader to his team though.

EVERYONE is not guilty until proven other wise. OJ and other famous defendants are completely irrelevant to this case. However, there are people that insist on calling Lewis a murderer, even though he was never convicted or i think even charged with that crime.

Fair point.

On the other side of it, why cant I use the same logic for thinking someone is guilty when they were found innocent. Both cases the government can be wrong, which was my point

Like I said, the "murder thingy" isn't the reason people hate Ray Lewis.

They use that to justify and strengthen their hate... but it isn't the main reason.

People would hate Ray Lewis just the same whether he caught a murder case or not.

Absolutely, I do feel like I'm better than a guy that was involved in a murder case.

Big Ben was accused of sexual assault twice and he doesn't receive nearly the amount of hatred from this board that Ray Lewis does.

Except the government doesn't sit on the jury.

Juries are made up of peers. Regular citizens.

Therefore, whether somebody is guilty or innocent isn't left up to the government.

Well, he took a misdemeanor charge and testiied against his boys. And the government, armed with Lewis' testimony and co-operation, could not get a conviction. And they didn't have OJ's team of lawyers.

Well, its very possible for Ray Lewis to have killed that guy, gotten away with it, and then been a standup citizen for the rest of his life

Its also possible for OJ to have not killed his wife and her lover, rightly declared innocent, and then become a thug the rest of his life and end up in jail

My point was that you cant claim someones innocence or guilt based on what their current situation is.

But you are absolutely not better than the gravel I walk on. Don't act like you've never been accused of anything, life is full of uncertainty.....

Honestly don't hate him, but he is way over the top sometimes and its just magnified right now with his retirement.

I mean I thought I was watching the WWE when he was announced for that home playoff game.

I was just like what the frick is this? This isn't football.
