You could be #1 in all time tournament winnings and be losing money when you consider entry fees.
I think one year Daniel Negraneau had 2 mil in cashes but was a negative like -1.1 mil for the year. And some of the stats are misleading because most of the players of the super high rollers don’t have 100 or even 50% of themselves. The guy that’s making the most money is probably some online end boss that casuals don’t knows about.

Best tourney player in the world has a top 10 chip stack.

Maurice, it is nice you find time to post on here while playing the main

Maybe Maurice can pay his backers and avoid getting sued.

He does. He busted out though.

Jamie gold was chipleader on like day 3 and ran away with it
My buddy was doing pretty good until yesterday when he ran into Gold and AA. He took a big chunk out of his stack.
He said the woman that was accused of cheating in that big cash game last year was at the table next to his.

2003-2009 was nauseating. Everyone was a Red Sox fan and thought they were a poker pro. Poker seemed to be on ESPN more than ridiculousness on MTV.

Aptly named "Poker Brat". I love it when he gets his hand crushed and goes into bitch/pout mode talking about how his opponent had no business in the hand and how he is the smartest/best player in the world.
Such a massive asswipe.

I remember the year Jamie Gold won. The cards were falling into his hands like some Karma was in a hurry to get the tournament over.
I've never seen a guy get so lucky to get such strong hands as often as he did. Almost anyone could have won that year with the hands he got.

His antics do get annoying but he did did win bracelet #17 this year… he’s a great player over multiple decades in several different disciplines

I played on a club team with Will Nunley. Light hearted dude with a good sense of humor. LINK
the fact he did this doesnt surprise me. He has made a decent living in the poker world
Looking at his winnings, in june/july he made 37.5k. Which isnt anything special for a poker player, but for the average person and 2 months worth of work. His entry fees were only 4k for all of that. He finished 49th at the 2022 WSOP and that got him 176k.

Yeah well he stole that from WW1 vets and lol at biting a WW1 quote and attributing it to poker.

From wsop
Timothy Lin opened to 16,000 from under the gun and action folded to Harish Ananthapadmanabha in late position. He tanked for over a minute saying he was "in agony" as he held his head in his hands. Eventually Ananthapadmanabha released his hand, as did the remaining players, to send the pot to Lin, who showed 86 offsuit. Ananthapadmanabha, meanwhile, revealed he had folded aces preflop to a single raise in an effort to secure a minimum cash.
I’m ripping it with those aces.
