Maybe it is because Harbaugh is petulant and whiny on the sidelines, and is over the top in his antics pleading and yelling at officials?

Harbaugh has a small resume', but he is a former QB with a defensive mindset. I just see him as more well rounded.

Saint's drafting success has been so one sided towards offense, its silly.

tough one. Both top coaches. Payton's situational playcalling can be maddening. Harbaugh is a massive dick...hmmmmm

I'm going with the one who actually won a super bowl.

Harbaugh didn't draft a lot of those defensive starters. He inherited a pretty great defense.

You put Payton in San Fran and a 3-peat is happening in two weeks. Harbaugh and Carroll both walked into as good of a situation as a coach possibly can

I know, i noted his small resume'. He only has 3 years under his belt. Even so, Aldon Smith is better than any defensive player Payton has drafted in his tenure. And he also found Kaepernick,

they also have 13 picks in the 2014 draft. They are just set up better.

Saints are in cap hell.

Not really. Harbaugh inherited a 6-10 team with no QB and Carroll inherited a 5-11 team with no QB

Agreed, I'd say Harbaugh is probably the best motivator in football right now as well.

I want to say Payton, but his drafting has been abysmal outside of Vaccaro.

Ingram in the first round instead of defensive studs almost made my head explode.

Its so obvious what we need this year and if we don't draft it, I will fricking lose it.

Stud LB in first round.
Stud blazing WR in second round. (need another Devery to take top off the defense) A Tavon Austin type would be incredible.
OL in 3 rounds.
Defense in the other 2 rounds.

Maybe since Ingram ran well at the end of the year we can get some draft value from him and get another 2nd or 3rd rounder?

Maybe they can pull some shite trading their 1`st round pick and Ingram to someone with a higher first round pick to get Sammy Watkins...he would be perfect. Then go LB in second round.

Vaccaro, CAm Jordan, Hicks.

but they have a handful of draft picks that don't even make it to the regular season of their first year. That's bad

QB play for Harbaugh in year 1 was pretty solid behind Alex Smith and the defense was insanely loaded
Petey did walk into a less than ideal QB situation though

Good point.

Jordan was great and Hicks was a steal.

We need more like that. Ingram is still just fricking baffling. We had so many other needs and were pretty decent at RB already. Everyone on the planet, even Bama fans, knew Ingram was nothing special and to waste a 1st round pick on that...

Harbaugh inherited the best defensive unit in the NFL.

Really?

So, he's an emotional coach on the sidelines. He looks like a lot of tigertards I've seen in BR on game day and they don't even have a stake in the team like this guy does.

Too worried about SP relapsing
