Game is in Shreveport, LA on Friday 12/23 at 2:30PM

What are the other options?
Win out for the Cotton Bowl, but maybe Military Bowl on 12/28 or Armed Forces Bowl on 12/22.

The word "fans" should be used very loosely with respect to toolame. There are VERY few.

Tulane would bring a decent amount of people. We travel for bowl games better than people would think

Just so many wild cards for next 4/5 games to know where this team finishes in AAC standings (including staying healthy).

Tulane was a 2-10 team last year. Not a very recent track record of being clutch in November.

Got to find a way to beat Tulsa first and see how the UCF vs Cincinnati matchup plays out to see who is the “leader in the clubhouse” between those two.

Don't laugh, but we've been projected to go to Fenway against an ACC team. We'd get more fans there than at half our home games.

Tulane fans show up as long as it’s an event, like the Memphis game.

UCF would be another sellout if we hosted College Gameday but they lost so it’s not happening.

We need to continue winning and build the fan base. It would help a lot if we started admitting local students who would actually support our programs.

Unfortunately there aren’t too many people in the area who are smart enough to get into Tulane. It really is crazy that there’s such a good school in such an uneducated state.

---But is the Indy Bowl...in Shreveport...big enough of an event?

Birmingham Bowl against a mid-level SEC team would probably be a good turnout for Tulane.

Tulane played in the Independence Bowl in 1987 against Washington. The attendance was about 45,000

Hard to say what the attendance would be like now but I think Tulane would bring at least 20,000

Attendance in Sheveport would be fine. Would be better if in a city with easy airport connections, nice hotels and restaurants.

They back when Mack Brown was their coach, although I don't know if he coached their bowl game.

Man, talk about a kick in the nuts if you're Tulane ...

Nationally ranked and you're having one of your best years in the past couple of decades only to be rewarded with a trip to Shreveport.

Why would they play in Shreveport when they will be playing in the Orange Bowl.

There’s literally no chance of that happening. Win out & they go to cotton bowl, that’s the best case.
