Yeah you just proved my point. He’s talking about a hypothetical game between Dallas and KC and what it would take for the chiefs to lose when Dallas scores 13.

Reauxl is essentially literally arguing that because that 1 game, we can now conclude that the more INTs Mahomes throws, the more points his team will score.

And if there were some crazy hypothetical where the D gave up only 13, Mahomes would be more likely to win that game if he had 5 turnovers than if he had 0 or just any number less than 5 turnovers.

That's the logic we're working with in this thread.

Is this like when you preface a post with “I like Brady” and then spend 20 pages downplaying any of his accomplishments and abilities?

No chance this thread gets bumped at some date in the future.

No he isn't

He brought up 5 TOs simply to disparage Mahomes

Y'all are being so incredibly dishonest.

Pride it would be cool if you to tell TH that I'm right and that it's shitty to make me defend this pointless position.

It’s cute that you’re trying so hard, but it’s just not working.

I love me some Brady.

I also love attempting to place his ability as a QB into reality.

Are you denying that Pride was being sarcastic with "yes" and are you denying that he brought up 5 TOs simply to disparage Mahomes?

Didn't think of that, good call.

I still don't entirely get the point of the OP. Before last night, I think Brees had really separated from himself and was pretty clearly playing better than Mahomes this season. But before last night, if you asked me which QB would be more likely to lose a game when the D gives up 13, I'd say Brees. Mahomes puts up more gaudy numbers in yards and TDs, that's no secret. He just does it less efficiently.

KC's style of play will lend themselves to being less likely to score very few points but more likely to lose when scoring more points due to turnovers/short fields, things like that.

2 questions, give honest answers:

1. Is a team more or less likely to lose a game when their gives up 13 points if they have 5 turnovers?

2. Which QB is more likely to have 5 turnovers in a game, Mahomes or Brees?

The other important point was that you didn't ask if Mahomes would lose a game when his D gave up 13 points this season, you asked if he'd EVER do it.

What caused you to say 5?

Mahomes averages 51 points in 5 turnover games.

Why would a 5 turnover game be your answer to a question concerning Mahomes scoring less than 13 points?

I used 5 in my example because we know it is possible for mahommes to turn it over that many times

And when you turn it over that many times, it usually leads to a bad offensive performance

This is so strange

If I was you I'd ask, "more or less likely than what?" "Their what?" "You're not making sense."

But I'm not a dick. So my answer is, teams have a very small chance to win a game if their QB has 5 turnovers. ESPECIALLY if 2 go back for TDs.

Mahomes is more likely to have 5 turnovers in one game.
