this might have been the worst... looked like orlando bloom with a Jersey style spray on tan

The ironic thing about the Titans logo/name is that the team voted down the Generals or some other name, because it was too related to the South/Civil War.
There is a rank in the KKK called the Titan or Grand Titan, which is a a district leader.
Now that we know that, take a look at the Titans logo. It has three stars, which are from the state flag, but also three stars has been used to symbolize the KKK as well. Also, there is a T in the middle, and around the T is flames. You could say it is a burning T. A T looks a lot like...a cross.
Regardless of that, I'm not a fan of the logo (and I'm a Titans fan).

You're a dumbass. Titans due to the Parthenon. 3 stars for the three parts of the state. T for Tennessee. The T also looks like a sword, allowing for more marketing.

I know it's not a logo, but the fact that their helmet made ESPN's top 10 helmets list still boggles my mind. I'm a bitter Saints fan

I did not say there was underlying KKK reasoning behind it. I found it ironic, especially since they were wanting to distance themselves from the Civil War. I know the reasoning behind their choice for the logo.

Because if I just said that it had KKK symbols within the logo, that would be inadequate and would have surely been asked of me to go into more detail.

I apologize if I misspoke and chose the wrong word in your opinion, but the fact that they chose something that related to the the KKK is interesting to me. For they intended to distance themselves, yet displayed something that more closely related to what they were trying to get away from.
Not to mention that the Titans in Greek mythology were incestuous, which is something that the state and the southeast also possess a stigma about.
I'm not sure if you think I'm trying to insult the Titans, Tennessee, or what. I was merely pointing out something that was brought up when the Titans unveiled their new name and logo. And I certainly hope you don't think I'm supporting the KKK, for that could not be further from the truth.

The Titans logo is awesome and actually has meaning.

I agree, those were hideous. Their new uniforms that they debuted in '97, are bad arse in my opinion.
