Only a miracle road win on Thursday can change this thread. They can do it, but I'm just not in a state of mind to prepare to get into it again.

Powerman you live in Corpus Christi?

Yeah I used to live on the South Side in King's Crossing. Sold my place and moved to an apt in Portland to be closer to work.

After 3 months I'm already looking to buy again in Corpus. Portland is worthless.

What do you do down here man?

That was really more of a shot about the people down here than you.

Frick this game.

That was one of the best saints teams ever. I still cant believe we let Vernon Davis get behind us like that.

I'm a teacher in CC. Yeah, born and raised in that town, so I know the suckage, but hey, I have steady income, and summer and holidays off, so no complaints.

Enjoy.

I would like to see if it would get the elusive, unicorn like Carson123987 stamp of approval.

Well as a fan with absolutely no rooting interest, it was complete abortion of a championship game to watch. It was a chore to watch it from start to finish.

I can. Vernon Davis has more speed than any other TE in the game IMO. And who was covering him?

yeah, we had no chance brother. Our D had been living dangerously all year and it finally caught up with us.

I could land you a better paying job with no days off ever

Unfortunately I'm making my money the hard way doing construction management in Ingleside.

I will say that business is booming though

I was pulling for the Saints in that game. A brutal loss for sure. Amazing how when the bar is raised success is completely redefined. I mean...do Milwaukee Buck fans consider this season a success?

Alot of boom going on around that city these days. The roads still suck and the pace of the town is still slow lol...but I suppose that's why every summer I leave town. And I'm not the guy who paints Spanish phrases on my truck like 'puro pinche Spurs' or whatever

It's pretty much unprecedented.

Agreed but at least they're working on them

And in good news, I got tickets to go see megadeth now that they're beyond washed up

I think they paint that on other people's trucks around here

there had been a few games where we had barely hung on in the regular season like that one. The Titans just about beat us on a last second drive.

the LSU-Alabama rematch was frustrating for me and I didn't even have a rooting interest in that game.

I wanted to see LSU-Oklahoma State but leave up to fuggin Iowa State to throw a monkey wrench in the BCS standings.

That said I work on the west side of town and deal with kids who don't speak English...never had my truck tagged yet. We need to get together for a beer sometime. So many fine establishments around that city...haha
